DS Lazy's Trimmer 0.22A

ratx has updated DSLazy's DS trimmer in order to fix a few issues:

Heres a new version that fixes a couple of reported problems. The output filename munging routine has been re-written and overall is more cautious in regards to trimming. Thanks to _psychowood_ and Rejk. I haven’t tested this version much and I’m thinking it will need more tweaking to get the right compromise between trimming and preventing overtrim. As always if you find problems please comment.

I just place trim.exe in my SendTo folder for quick rightclick on *.nds access to the trimming tool.

I canna get DS Lazy ta stay open on me puter... it opens and then immediately closes. Is anyone else havin same problem? Or is it happenin ta me cos i is still runnin Windows 2000?

All you have to do is drag and drop the ROM file on the DS Lazy, then it'll auto-trim.

But if me does that, does it still check for bricker and do all those other lovely things too?

In fact,

-it trims (yeah, you knew that, i know

)
-it scans for CrashMe (has also been mentionned)
-it unpacks a rom (get all files and folders out of a single rom)
-it re-packs a rom

I found it important to point this out as it can be pretty useful for rom hacking. I personnaly used it to remove all sounds from Castlevania PoR so it can run on my supercard miniSD. It can be used for other things such as always play as Yoshi in Super Mario 64 and such.

Not quite sure about loader and patcher though as i use supercard software for that.

edit : sorry, just realised this was only the trimmer exe for the dsLazy app... anyway, dsLazy does all that ^^ and you can use the dsLazy gui to run this trimmer
