Can you load games from SD card at the same time as a HDD?
I already create a wbfs on the root of my SD, but ULGX doesn't see the game on it...
Why do you put games on SD card when you can use HDD?
To answer your question, i don't think it can load games from SD card and HDD at the same time, but you can switch between SD and HDD somewhere in settings.

'cause I'm on Wii U, and currently using cIOS base 58, mostly due this allow me a setting where I can have a Wii U HDD + a HBC HDD + a keyboard + GCN USB adapter all connected without nintendont and ULGX interfering each other. Base 56-57 doesn't allow me that setup, becuase they are only compatible with just 1 specific USB port.

The problem is, I just found out that Worms Battle Islands get stuck in loading screen with base 58, I can make it works with base 56 but that means I need to change my USBs setup for just one game = not fun.

So since SD is not dependant on USB ports, I though I could launch the game from there without the hassle to exchange my cable setup, the game is ony 250mb or so, not heavy at all.

That's a lot of things setup. You can still switch game destination in USBLoader GX settings

like julialy said, it's possible to use SD for wii games, but USBLoaderGX is not compatible (yet).
Wiiflow works, though some games have incompatibility (like Kirby triggers its AP if launched from SD)

But it's either SD or USB, you can't access both "at the same time" while playing. (I'm not even sure how it would work at the same time when playing :P)
but at the same tile while in the loader can be possible, like you can list games from multiple partitions at the same time. the SD card is just another partition.

ULGX has never support wii game loading from SD.
Other loaders, however, does, if you so insisted.

oops, answered too quick (or rather to late)

Can I use this to play Wii games with my Wii U Pro Controller?

... Kidding. Sorry. My issue is even more basic than that: I'm unable to sync my Pro controller at all. I'm on a regular Wii and am using build 1256. I've read the entire controller library thread and followed Cyan's sync advice without success. I plugged the controller in (tried both ports) and hit the sync button on the system menu. It fails and times out as expected. I load USB Loader GX and push buttons on the controller. No response. The sync button also causes the usual timeout response.

I've tried it in Nintendont (what I actually want to use the controller in). Same failure to register any sort of response from the system.

Could this be a CIOS thing? My setup is current as of perhaps 10 months ago, though applications are all the latest.

Can someone give me a painfully detailed step-by-step of how they get their regular Wii to recognize a Wii U Pro Controller in USB Loader GX or Nintendont? I don't care if it's wireless or via USB at this point.

At this point, maybe that should just be added to the first post, maybe it will help prevent that question from being asked so often.
I agree. It's funny that I didn't know if it was even asked before even though I regularly read the thread. :P

The first part actually made me laugh. How stupid was that of me to ask?
As for your issue, can you confirm if it is 1st party or a knockoff? The sticker on the back, the Wii U logo on the front, the Nintendo logo molded onto the battery pack cover, and it having Tri Wing screws holding it together are telltale signs that it's the real deal.

that's strange that it didn't work on nintendont too.
to me, the controller didn't register at all in the wii.

But something I don't understand :
I plugged the controller in (tried both ports) and hit the sync button on the system menu.
Which port are you talking about?
the controller is wifi, not USB.
There's nothing to plug (plugging it is only used to charge the controller, not transmit button states)
unplug it before trying to synch, maybe it has issue registering it if it's plugged to usb.

The Wii U Pro controller only connects via Bluetooth. There isn't any signal sent through the cable; it's just for charging. So keeping it plugged in isn't going to interfere with it connecting, but you also can't connect to the system though it.
The controller is also not going to connect to the Wii on the System Menu or anything since it isn't natively supported. Go in USBLGX, Nintendont, or any other Homebrew that supports the controller before trying to sync. Then press the red sync button on the controller and the red sync button on the system. It should sync and work fine afterwards.

I had followed Cyan's post from the Wii U Pro Controller library thread, but had forgotten about the existence of the console-side sync button. Thanks AbdallahTerro for reminding me of the existence of that.

I've played mostly with with a DS4 on PC lately, hence the plugging in via USB when pairing to bluetooth rather than utilizing the sync button on the console itself. What worked once I was reminded of the button was pressing it and the controller button in the system menu, then loading USB Loader GX where it worked right away. It was probably still trying to sync once the application loaded.

Thanks to all who helped.

bug fixed. no idea how. hate it when that happens. trying to break it again now. will. not. be. defeated.
Hahaha, I like it. The problem is I cannot break it again (I tried, promise), it's been working fine all these days.
What I haven't tested with v1256-1257 is the download bug, who knows if it's gone too?

Sorry to bump my post but no one answered my question yet. My post is here (https://gbatemp.net/threads/usb-loader-gx.149922/page-1031#post-5643536).

Basically though I was saying that I would like to try and use the neek feature in USB Loader GX to play those troublesome WiiWare and VC games that need it. I already have an emunand set up on my USB drive with all my games on it and wasn't sure if I could still use that or if I had to start from scratch. From what I've searched so far I know that I am going to need UNEEK+DI and NEEK2o but I get a little confused trying to read up on them and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to get me started. Thanks.
