And this site's web address is...?

You don't need to know. Correction, you don't want to know. It's the sort of malicious, uncivilized place that chews folks like you up. Import bit is, there are two translators interested in lending a hand and I've directed them this way. They'll contact either you or cord...whenever they feel like it, I guess. Like I said, they're mostly total bastards. Quite hard to work with, but since you're low on translators, beggars can't be choosers. ;3

Yeah I sent Sky a PM, as for Skype I had a high-performance laptop and I was carrying a mug of milk and when I was walking past it the cup broke up the handle and landed on my laptop LOL (just my luck)/ I thought I cleaned it all off but there was some underneath that curdled into the computer. So now I have a custom built super high performance desktop but without a webcam, however I've Skype with ppl from my Vita. Maybe we can come up with a meeting date?

Just make Sky a contact and talk to him and he'll set you up with a test translation and if all goes well you'll be added as a translator.

I honestly don't think Squenix will localize it at this point. They don't new PSP games in the states anymore. Unless they were to release it on the Vita but I don't find that very likely because Squeenix has been hating us fans as of late.
There was only one new game released stateside this year, and that was Black Rock Shooter, albeit digital download. Of course, I don't think they dubbed it, just translated it.

Who the fuck cares? The way I figure it, it's a blessing in disguise: So long as they aren't bringing Type-0 over stateside (in any shape or form), it's essentially giving you all a free pass to continue the patch. The moment Type-0 itself shows up here either on Vita, 3DS, iOS or PSWhatever, it's over and done with. Commence the C&D lawyer brigade. And quite a few folks are looking forward to playing this on a PSP, but anything else that they might not have yet. So, as long as Square keeps dallying around, you'll have enough elbow room to actually work on this. The moment Type-0 heads stateside, all this work is wasted.

"The art of chess…the art, is knowing when a piece is most valuable. And then, in that very moment being willing to sacrifice it. For in the vacuum created by the loss of what is most precious, opportunity abounds."

Now....about my previous (two) posts....

Well I know this much, if it did get localized, we could play it a lot sooner. I'm not totally hyped for this like I was during it's release, but given the chance to play in my own language I wouldn't hesitate, regardless whose responsible for it.

It was a nice game, shooting people and stuff.
And no, it wasn't dubbed.

.
There was also Corpse Party Book of Shadows, Class of Heroes 2, and Sweet Fuse At Your Side.

There's Mystic Chronicles to, but that was already on smartphones and it was retranslated iirc.

And Trails of the Sky 2 is coming next year.

Not jumping to any conclusions, but it's kind of obvious that Tabata is trying to make a push in getting Type-0 out of Japan. Which...probably means that it will depend on how Agito fares here. How much in-game crap everyone buys up, basically. Which...probably means that it will likely end up on iOS/Android as well, as expected.

I've got no problems with that. In fact, I just sort of giggle when people start bitching about mobile gaming for no other reason that its mobile. Console, handheld, or mobile, if you get the right game for your system it's all good. Cause really, that's what gaming is and will always be about: Getting your hands on the right game.

Welp. Looks like this translation project is essentially done for - especially if they're planning to keep Type-0 adhered to handhelds (either 3DS or Vita, which FF fans in general prefer over mobile). Not to mention, since they claim (and certain voice actors claim), localization of Type-0 was pretty much done, it stands to reason they'll release it ahead of you guys.

I'd say the next 2-3 days will determine everything. If they announce some sort of enhanced port of Type-0 for another system, it's prolly a good idea to jump ship.

Square Enix might or might not release the game outside Japan. I know Tabata wants to bring it over here, but in case it's not possible, you guys can be sure our translation project will deliver.
I'd love an official localization happening: it would be faster, into more languages than just English and Spanish, and would take no effort by fans.

However, after reading Tabata's interview with Usgamer, I've realized that I don't want fans to wait like that either; so I'll wait to see if there are news during TGS. If Square Enix remains silent by next week, I'll take the bull by the horns and manage the project myself, try to give release dates and have the game fully playable in English as soon as possible.

I'm confident our project matches the quality of an official localization. Don't worry fans, this game is coming either by Square Enix, or by us.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.

He couldn't eat until after his MRI, when he had a bomb pop.
