Yeah, even in 720p and full screen, I can't make out the writing on the SD cards. Speaking of Luigi's Mansion 2, does the US even have the all white 3DS XL? If not, that's a pretty clear giveaway that the 3DS XL in the video is european.

At about 1:20 on the video you can see the writing on the luigi's mansion microsd card. It's big enough on that card to read at 720p. The others are too small for me to make out.

You can see it when he takes the sd card out. It's a 2GB SD Card. Pretty clear.

LOL at the irony at mods blocking piracy discussion this cart is all about piracy you might as well lock this topic too then, this new flashcart its a big step for 3ds but there are a few things that let it down:

region lock still not removed
having to backup save file each time you need to play a new game
only being able to load one game at a time
only being able to use one memory card at a time, so if you wanted to play say 20 3ds games you would need 20 memory cards that is just stupid.

a cfw solution would have been much better a flashcart can be easily blocked by nintendo and is a stupid way to distribute imo a cfw you have much more control over the os and what it can do.

this flashcart is a deja vu of the ninjapass x9 i brought all those years ago that cart was horrible too but what do you expect it was a first gen flashcart.
anyways i have no reason to buy this at all, it serves no purpose and has no benefits either, you would never be able to update your 3ds if you brought one of these so you would have to stay offline forever, I'm sure much better solutions will come along sooner or later this is only just the beginning but it will bring even more frequent updates from nintendo to try and block this thing (usual cat and mouse rubbish)

In his defense, the two were bickering and flaming such that it got pretty irritating. It's not so much a piracy discussion as it went into personal attack mode though it started out as one (sorta). We've seen piracy discussions go down the shithole time and time again and this one is no different.

Wow, you guys are right, nice find! That microSD card is 2GB. And the Luigi's Mansion 2 (E) dump (and tne only one availble right now, BTW) is 8Gbit (1GB):

Which ultimately undermines everything Pong tried to pass as facts ;)

The only thing I'm now curious is about save games... It might just be that they still haven't finalized the Game Manager, so it corrupts saves because it doesn't correctly saves them to the microSD yet.

Wow, well that video sure makes it look very legit.
I hope it does work, only if Japanese games work in it. I'm sure the price of a crad compared to a Japanese 3DS and Japanese games will be significantly less.
Although of course it is not going to the providers of the game :(

All the three games that she "played" are avaliable for digital download, wich means that this group can made perfect videos using saves from digital copies, so it is one more reason for we take that as a grain of salt.

Nintendo might still be able to block this, are they? I totally don't like this idea of pirating 3DS games.(I am thinking of 3rd party support here) It seems pretty useless as others stated above. ^o^ I am not so worried yet.

Once again it comes back to the idea that we don't know much for sure. We can only assume what it until it is released/revealed by the creators. Is it 1:1? or can it load more? Based off the video its just looks like 1:1 but the creator says that video was an early test, they then give no further explanation about it soo it could be more or less we don't know. More than likely its just 1:1 but we can only hope.

If it is true, the methohod of blocking flashcards by nintendo would be the same for DSi. They block today, and 7 or 8 days later the groups release firmware updates to "solve" the problem.
I'm not starting a discussion here about piracy, but believe me, It wont affect who like to buy original games (take Nintendo DS as an example).
