There is a video on youtube that shows you how to flash but you can also see how flush it is with the DSL... This video made me get the ez4l and its great!

Well I've got a blue case in my black lite, and seriously I don't even notice it's there.
I don't see the point in this mod. Every mod I've seen so far looks like it's survived a nasty car accident.

i agree... there's no need to mod it. it doesn't look all that bad. it doesn't look so much diff than having the dummy cart in. when u're playing the game, u wouldn't even notice it. @_@

While mostly I agree w/ you, the inside of the dust cap (in the case of the thining the dust cap's plastic attempt) could be painted back to the original color to avoid the "nasty car accident" look.

But moding the hardware (either the DSL or the cart) goes beyond anything I'd even think of doing.

I admit a lot of the reason I purchased an EZ4 (non-lite) was that it wouldn't leave anything sticking out of my DS (I don't have a Lite). At it's launch, everything else that used removable media had something I'd have to remove before sticking my DS in my pocket or a bag, whether it be the cart itself or the media. My concerns weren't cosmetics but not having something hanging out that would prevent my DS from fitting in a case, adding bulk in my pocket or potentialy cause damage by being snagged on something. An EZ4Lite may not be as pretty as the G6 lite, but certainly doesn't give me concern about the above issues and is a far cry prettier then socketing a "real" GBA cart in there.

It's not like having a flash cart that looks like the dust cap is going to make you cool or get you laid or anything, so if it's not-perfectly-flush-ness isn't causing problems what is the big freakin' deal?
