ROM Hack Requesting s list of New Super Mario Bros. MODS (and maybe others)

Is anyone familiar with a website that shows all the current (finished and in progress) mods for New Super Mario Bros. DS and any others? I would gladly create the list if someone pointed me in the right direction. Right now all I have is a pretty decent up-to-date set of translations but unfortunately I can't post those because all my ROMs are pre-patched and I don't have the IPS patches.

I have played several pretty decent mods and would like to know what I'm missing. I know many people are working on "remakes" of the old NES marios, etc. but it's hard to keep up.

So what are the good ones? Feel free to list the bad ones or incomplete ones too.

And mods to any other games would be really cool.

This guy makes "Let's Play's" of unknown NSMB hacks!
But to be honest, he plays only one level (custom levels)
Maybe you can find some...

There are 50 DIFFERENT unfinished NSMB hacks in the internet, when you really want a hack with potential,
you can find only 3 (three)...

- the hack from gridatttack, New Super Mario Bros. Deluxe
- the hack from the poster above, when he would finish it [Adventure Bros.]
- at least not last mine of course

(New Super Mario Bros. 3) [NOTE: new levels will be released very soon, 4 new worlds]

ALL others are very stupid or just majorly unfinished...

EDIT:\ LOL, it seems EVERYONE is be able to make a "hack" now

This makes it much harder to bring out a good one, with features others don't have...

I have played your NSMB 3 hack, and it is great! I believe I played 2.5 and 3.0 but I'm not sure. You should label the files more clearly.

I will try those other two, and eventually some of the ones the others recommended. Thanks guys.

I'm not sure where you have downloaded my game, but I always put the version inside the package! Even in the read me

I'm sure it was 2.5, because 3.0 is still in progress! I will post a small video on Youtube in 1-2 hours...

Yeah, I found out it was 2.5a in the readme. THe other file on my card just said "New Super Mario Bros. 3"

I just downloaded 2.5c, as well as the two you suggested. So far the "Deluxe" one isn't that great. I mean it's well done but it's just copies off the old, easy World 1-2 levels.

Worry not

The full version will include custom areas and will have the starcoins hidden. That means you will need to explore the levels and find entrances to this new challenge areas.

Not to mention finding a way to get all the starcoins.

Yeah, sorrry gridattlack. I didn't mean to put your mod down. It actually is very well done, but I wasn't expecting to re-play the Super Mario 1 levels when I downloaded it. The star coins are actually a pain in the ass to get, so you are right about that.

Can't wait to play through the finished version cause I've gone through the first 2 worlds. (haven't gotten all the star coins though...)
