Cheats, yes.Okay, just saw this bit of news. Sounds great and all, but... for a relative (total) newbie, what all do I have to do to start using this? Does it happen to also support cheats as well?
Just tried DM 2.0 3a. Still hasn't fixed the controller issue.
Okay, so at least it SOMETIMES loads for you. That looks like a SLIGHT improvement from your previous posts of yours.Ok DM is being very random, sometimes it loads and sometimes the wii just turns off
I'm speecheless...Is there any advantage to having GC games in a particular format (DiscEX, GCReEx etc) and running them via DM USB or do they all give the same performance?
Use your wii in 4:3 and compare both games, you'll see that he cubes picture is far more defined.gamecube version runs in 480p, 4:3
Wii version 480p. 16:9
They look the same to me outside of the wii version having widescreen support.
Are you using PAL or NTSC versions? There are video problems with the PAL version of TP that aren't widely documented. If you have them try playing both the PAL and NTSC versions of TP on the Wii in progressive scan and you will notice that the NTSC version looks significantly better.
Yes, as a matter of fact I'm using my PAL Wii , and using the ntsc version of the Gamecube game....
I will see if I can get a hold of the ntsc version for Wii...cool did'nt knew that....
My wii version of TP looks softer and blurry compared to the ntsc GC version.
And I mean really softer....
Thank you for the info!
EDIT: seems I'm not the only one: http://forum.beyond3...ead.php?t=60717

You can just rename your original iso image to "game.iso" and replace the existing "game.iso" file (in usb1:/games/folder/game.iso).I know that feel bro... I just can't get the damn DM (2.0, 2.03 update) to work, under FAT32 10GB IDE HDD drive 32K cluster size. Under a WD 250GB FAT32, and either a 80 GB IDE FAT32 32K...!Ok DM is being very random, sometimes it loads and sometimes the wii just turns off
BC6 was reinstalled, tried dios mios booter r24 & r26, games are being shown on CFG USB Loader mod & dios mios booter (through HDD, USB) but I just get a damn black screen then Wii shuts DOWN!
*F******* this ****
edit: anyone willing to share how to use uncompressed ISO??? Because those issues happen with DiscEx converted GC games! (most of them are already working, confirmed by various tempers...)
Please help!!! >-<

All those years I wondered why TP lookes so fuzzy....
was abug in pal version all along.....
NTSC version looks great in 480 p!
Would there be more games that suffer from this bug on wii?
Okami comes to mind....
install over and replace.Quick question, with the latest Dios Mios wad being released, can I install that over an existing DM or do I have to uninstall the old one first?

EDIT : but really, if the compressed disk image worked fine for you with DML, in theory they SHOULD work the same with DM.
If you have really bad luck, the USBtoIDE converter you're using for the 10gig and 80gig drive AND the the 250gig one are just not compatible with this version of DM. Let's hope it's something else, though.

Wait a second, it was common knowledge that the GC version of TP looks better than the Wii version, because the game has always been coded specifically for the GC while the Wii version is just a rushed port, which would explain the bugs in there.
And it has nothing to do with the region of the game. Both NTSC and PAL GC versions of TP looks the same in 480p. The PAL version doesn't support 480p, but you sure can force 480p AND also widescreen. That's right. You can play the GC version of TP in 480p and 16:9. TP is one of the gamecube games that can be forced to output 16:9 flawlessly.
The GC version of TP however has framerate issues which have been addressed with the Wii version.
