Nice review.... But I still think the Max Media Launcher is better, cheaper and works with more cards than this Passcard 2 thingy.
I should submit a review for the MML... But that mean's I'd have to do something :'(

Nice review TheSpade.

Personally I will still be recommending to people that they flashme their DS's. Don't you people find it a pain in the arse to have to continually reboot your DS in order to get into the DS mode?

I know that I couldn't handle that turn on, insert card, reboot sequence everytime I wanted to play. Flashme FTW!

I also recommend FlashMe because it's safer... once you've got it installed...

This reboot sequence -

5) Turn on your DS (Lite), reach the M3/G6 menu and turn off your DS.
6) Insert the Passcard 2 into the DS Card Slot.
7) Turn on your DS (Lite) and reach the menu.

You don't have to do that everytime. Just the first time. Afterwards, you can just leave the Passcard 2 in (or swap for more battery life).

Ah righto!

I think you would have to reboot everytime with the Supercard, as it doesn't contain a battery. (Except for the new miniSD version)
I completely forgot that the M3 and G6 have a battery and hence don't lose the saver memory.

Hi All!

i currently own the 'PassCard2' too. I only wanted to mention, that ist also works with the 'M3 MiniSD'. First i had problems with MPH, Tetris and NSMB because of the firmware of my NDS Lite (bought after 01.05.06) ... but after an update of the firmware of the M3 to E19 all games work like charm.

The really high battery consumption is the most negativ about this solution - i have to charge my NDS Lite every day.

Ha..I get the Passcard 2, and the day after my review hits, the new "Passcard" is announced. Oh well. Should this be superior (referring to battery consumption), I'll pick this up and sell my Passcard 2 off to a co-worker. However, if the battery hit is the same, then I'm more than happy to carry on with what I have.

So with a Passcard 2, a New DSL (not Jap) and a SuperCard MiniSD sleep mode will work and game compatability will be sweet?

Also, have these been phased out already to makeway for the Passcard3? I can't find anyone who has them in stock.
