Hacking Tamogatchi or Digimon Virtual Pet Homebrew

I think someone should make a good homebrew of tomagatchi on the DS. I think tamogatchi the game on DS seriously SUCKED. I liked the classic ones where you have to raise it and feed it and stuff. It would be even ccooler if you could make a Digimon Virtual Pet homebrew.

You mean like those toy "digivices" that required you to shake them to encounter enemies?

This topic are about the virtual pets games, the kinds that you have to take care of, to prevent them from dying, not the pendulum Digivices. Also, UPDATE! ^^ The Digimon DS game: "Digimon World Championship" is actually a V-Pet game! That you can have allot of Digimon V-pets! I still perfer the kinds of Digimon V-Pets you get with only one on them though. Makes it easier to play.
EDIT: I still want a DS Homebrew DS game of a Digimon V-Pet game.
