QUOTE said:The clash between Adobe and Apple and the implementation of Flash on iOS devices has been a long-standing feud. Apple has yet to lift it's restriction on the media platform, but Adobe has found a way around it all with the introduction of Adobe Flash Media Server 4.5 and Flash Access 3.0.
In layman's term, Flash content is processed through Flash Media Server, as opposed to the device itself, and is then delivered to the user. The idea is not unlike that of the OnLive gaming service that also circumvents the limitations of iOS by having the information handled server-side.
As a result of the workaround, this method of streaming media does not require Apple's stamp of approval, thus securing the world of Flash content to help distract you from real life responsibilities.
Hopefully the next apple update won't try to kill it.
I just need to know when I'll be able to actually view flash on my iphone.
