For 16:9 users, please test this VBA-GX CoverTestbis and tell if you see covers even if they're not well positioned.

Hi Wiimpathy !

I give it a try but no cover,

i think the problem don't come from the emulator, it does the same on my old tv, i tried a clean install but same result.

I tried with my 3d covers and without any ( your default nocover ) and same result

Hi matguitarist,

this is very strange you don't even see the default one. Even with wrong coordinates I believed at least parts of covers should be displayed.
I looked at 16:9 detection in video.cpp which is slightly different from the other two emus, but since I can't test on a 16:9 TV, that's going to be a "little" difficult.

So right now, I'm a bit stuck, maybe someone else should look at the code and test on 16:9 (if it's the real problem?!) cause I'm not sure posting dozen of test versions on public forums is a good idea...

Hello everybody!

I tried the VBA-GX CoverTestbis, and its work fine for me.
I putted all the file on my SD. The only problem is for super mario world 2 - Yoshis Island. It doesn't show the cover, so maybe its just a problem of too long name file.
I will try to rename it with a shorter one.

Hey everyone. I use SMB feature all the time with these emulators. Would I still put the covers on my sd card or put them in the folder where my SMB roms are? Just curious. Thanks and I def appreciate all the work going on. Ok sorry about this. I got it figured out. You can't use the covers using smb just in case anyone wanted to know.

Just to let you know I have a 55 DLP 16:9 USA Toshiba and the VBA Covers work perfectly. I know there are some issues going around. Just giving my specs if it helps.

the roms must have the same name as the cover pic for the images to load correct?

If so is there any app that i can use to rename all my roms to match the image files? Going through one at a time would take way to long.
