Declaration from R4i Gold Team ( r4ids.cn):

We accidently put a ROM download link on our new designed official site www.r4ids.cn in last two weeks, anyway we removed it at once while we found this stupid mistake, which offended gbatemp forum policy, and might cause it get hurt somehow, we are very sorry for any inconvenience to the whole gbatemp community, and thanks again for your continued support!

What ROM was it? I'm curious.

EDIT: It may be a good idea for you to put "R4i x.x.x has BYPASSED DSi firmware x.x.x" instead of broken it. Sorry, I just noticed it on your site and though broken was an odd word choice. ~~But was it the Cars 2 nds ROM you posted?~~

If you want to answer, you CAN say the name of the game, just don't give any rom links or references to rom sites.

@ Nathan: Would you please point it out to me? Like, on a MS Paint circled .jpg or something? I really don't see it anywhere, and I have scoured every page. I may have missed it.

Well, no, they link to a whole site. I checked it out, definitely lots of download links there.

Check your downloads page. It is labeled as a download site for NDS games, and has a flashy new symbol next to the link.

Why don't you AT LEAST tell me what tab it is in at the top of the page? Downloads, Developments, etc?

I looked everywhere. I clicked about every link. I see it nowhere...

Yeah man... even the ads on the side of the page are unchanging, it's just stores (which don't have any roms, I looked). They are all legit shops. I checked the Where To Buy Page and none of those stores have roms either.

Looking at the download page too, I really think its just an ad. All I'm seeing is card banners and R4i/Wood downloads, no ROMs.

Pointed out where it was a couple posts up. I found it fairly quickly panning through the site earlier to check the claim from another member.

Edit: It appears to finally be gone. Cleared my cache, and it poofed away. Don't worry guys, the cache gets cleared often. The link was still there until recently. Also, it was an actual link, under one of the "Other Downloads" tab about halfway down the page. It wasn't an ad.

It was there until just a few minutes ago. :/

It wasn't an ad, which is what it seems like everybody was looking for. There was also no previous cache or cookies data present from that site before a couple hours ago on my browser, and another member found it too (check that other thread you posted in where it is pointed out before me).

It was funny, as the site was given while there was still a ROM's link there in the other thread with the person claiming there wasn't. Thanks for cleaning it up though. Now we don't have to skirt around the subject while indirectly helping people.
