I was attempting to get all Heart Pieces before completing it but missed four, one because the big fish always gets away. I was going to get as many Skulltulas as I could but ended up with a mere 40/100. I'll do Master Quest (or at least attempt to) and then go back and start a new profile on the normal game to find everything.
I already beat the game 100% (save for boss challenges), before I take on Master Quest I'm playing Dragon Quest V for the first time.

How?, I'm pretty sure the speed record for beating OoT 100% is 6 hours and 11 mins, or something around that.how_do_i_do_that said:

I finished the game in 26 hours (hah, beat that!
) and got all the Heart Pieces, but only 50 Gold Skulltulas. I don't see the point of getting all 100 just to get a Huge Rupee.
I'm just about to tackle the spirit temple later tonight and my clock's probably around the 10 hour mark. I've not done any sidequests, I'm just taking a leisurely stroll around Hyrule. Don't see the point in rushing it. I paid for this game by selling half my DVD box sets. I want my money's worth.
In all fairness I do want to finish it tonight though. I suspect my copy of Resident Evil Mercs 3D will arrive in the morning so I want no unfinished business to attend to. Then I can blast some zombies, blast some more zombies, punch a few zombies, then crack on with Master Quest. Where I will no doubt slash at some zombies

Gettings things out of order is faster. period.
The 6 hour one was done in almost in order. skipping a few things with the use of the shortcuts shaves more than an hour or 2 off the 100% easy, you go back for the misc at the end before the gannon fight.
Be aware that all speed runs skip the compass and map for the dungeons.

It really doesn't matter, you don't have to turn this into a big deal, just don't say you beat the game 100% in 4 hours, because you didn't, unless you plan on showing me your gameplay.how_do_i_do_that said:
