What? A Screen that purposefully wobbles? Nintendo, what have you wrought? Low battery life, high price, glitches and Black Screen of Deaths... What would Yokoi say?!
He would probably commend the 3DS for it's "withered technology".

But seriously, I think Nintendo might have underestimated how much people would jerk their system around when playing because they assumed the 3D effect would force them to be still. Just a theory.

Most likely, the problem is inconsistent manufacturing standards.

But yeah, BS nintendo. The wobble will only get greater towards the end of the 3DS' life.

QUOTE(D34DL1N3R @ Apr 3 2011, 08:20 PM) People are complaining about THAT? Really? How lame. I have 2 DSI XL's and they both wobble much more than that.

Maybe you should be complaining too then.

Well after a quick call to nintendo just now, a rep said as long as its locked in place it can wobble a little, as long as it doesnt close on your hands or anything.

Does that mean this is supposed to happen?
lol. It means he isnt going to say its a problem. He CANT say "oh yeah we messed up on that.". Nintendo would rather claim that its "not a problem" then admit accidents happen. (Look at 360 launch). Crashing & Freezing consoles, disk read errors, etc etc. Microsoft was like "oh that can happen sometimes. just try again. anything else i can help you with?" wasnt untill the RRoD that they finally said "well, F*ck." lol.

Moral of the story, Wait for the RRoD on your 3DS.

it sounds like 99% of 3DS's made have this jiggle problem, and nintendo is not going to fix all of them, so. Maybe future models manufatered will have this fixed and you can trade it in or a buy a new one.
This is comming from a long time 360 owner, i've went through so many problems with my 360 consoles (yes, Plural), So really, is a somewhat jiggly screen Killing You?

Or maybe he is right and some wobbles are not a problem.

Why are you guys assuming the worst? Mine only wobble with give try and force which doesn't affect gameplay.

Yes, Nintendo designed it to wobble. My Lite wobbles, my XL wobbles and so does my 3DS.
Just for future reference, my DS Phat wobbles, too.

I just don't know about ALL the fuss. The wobble doesn't destroy the game, does it? I can't get my 3DS (which "wobbles") to wobble while I'm playing at all, unless I force it. The wobble goes upwards; I don't know how that affects people.

Playing while lying down on your bed, for example?
Also, this really makes Face Raiders and any other game that will use the gyroscope almost unplayable. (I stopped playing Face Raiders for fear it will make the wobble worse)

Welp, no issue playing face raiders with my wobble. If it helps put your fingers on the shoulder buttons, and it will make the wobble stop, or it does for me.

Oh. I didn't think about things that used the gyro. Sorry!

I remedied my problem by getting a crystal case though, so I don't get any more wobble.

Wow, I'm getting kind of sick of seeing the OMFG MY SCREEN WOBBLES comments. I take it noone has a DSlite or dsi or whatever because the screen has always wobbled a little, i have both a dslite and a 3ds and they wobble the same. It has no negative effect, i mean ive played on my dslite all the time and even when u button mash hard its not like ur screen is flimsy itll barely move anyway. Everybody needs to stop being so paranoid, now if its a serious problem like a really flimsy top half then go get replaced thats what warranty is for, everybody blows thing out of proportions.
