an actual cd rom is 700mb big... and i doubt games are that small anymore
even if you dont use that and use a dvd instead your dvd drive is slower than a hard drive or flash drive and you will lag horribly

It has nothing to do with read speed, it's more the fact that it can't be written to.
This will cause problems if the game needs an update (even a tiny update) and most likely you will not be able to connect due to a different version of the game.

I would suggest using an external harddrive since it has more space for later updates, but if you have a large enough flashdrive, it might work.alkahest said:
