an actual cd rom is 700mb big... and i doubt games are that small anymore

even if you dont use that and use a dvd instead your dvd drive is slower than a hard drive or flash drive and you will lag horribly

just do what catboy says and you'll be fine

It has nothing to do with read speed, it's more the fact that it can't be written to.
This will cause problems if the game needs an update (even a tiny update) and most likely you will not be able to connect due to a different version of the game.

some does, some don't
if it keeps getting updated or change/save files, it won't

i ran lineage 2 from a DL-dvd to log sy in for 5 min, just can't save screens/movies

better use external hdd
