Which one is better? (More updates, more compatibility, better menus, less errors, better support etc.) I am stuck on which one to use, bought an acekard 2i already and it's coming in tomorrow, was my decision right? Or should I go back and buy a supercard DSTwo? Thanks guys.

If you don't really care for the Real Time Menu or any of the special plugins, the Acekard 2i is the way to go (I gave both and honestly prefer my Acekard, though the DSTWO is better and I use the RTG and Plugins often).

Not so fast that you can't play for about the same time as you could on the Acekard.

well, if you are just using the flashcart for playing commercial roms, than get the acekard, because it is alot cheaper and is as good as the dstwo. if you plan on using it for emulators, homebrews, than get the dstwo

not all acekards have contact issues but it is not really that much of a hassle, i have a acekard and was having contact issues. it is easily and fastly fixed with the paper trick

Acekard is the best for DS ROMs.

If you're into retrogaming (emulation), then get a DS2.

Or: Get both. They're not expensive, you know..?

Not if he plans to use the NESDS on a DSi XL for long periods of time, for that I recommend the Acekard.

Yes. If someone wants to play DS ROMs and wants to use use the DSi / DSi XL outdoor, you need the power saving Acekard.

You can do some retrogaming and emulation with DS2 at home, but for real usage: Acekard with latest Akaio.

Most people would disagree with you, but I've read too many conflicting results to know who is right. Wish there was a definitive way to figure it out, but I doubt anyone is going to do that. Best I can tell, the DSTWO will use a bit more battery power than the A2i. This is acceptable due to the difference in hardware.

I suggest ignoring the battery life issus (as you said yourself it doesnt matter) and look at the features. If you emulate a lot of games or want to play GBA games on your XL, then you should go for the DSTWO (or maybe the CycloDS iEvo when it comes out). If you just want a cart that can play just about any ROM you throw at it and/or are tight on cash, then the A2i (or R4 w/ Wood?) is for you.

The thing it really comes down to is, the price, if you can afford the DSTwo then get it, if not then the Acekard.

Oh and I get an easy 5-7 hours of Battery life out of the DSLite(Mostly because that's the maximum I use it at the time and then put on charge despite it still having green.) with gaming depending on brightness level, not sure how long with using the emulators since I only play them for an hour or 2.
