Misc dlink dsl-2640r router/ wii consol 4.2

hi everyone i am trying to connect a wii consol to the net for updateing but for some reason although i can connect it it wont download the updates to the wii system . i have been useing channel 8 or eleven with mixed mode but no luck all it says is that connecting and then it says cannot download update and comes up with a 30027 error , i have even disabled the firewall
and no luck , i have got 3 wii consols and 2 will connect and the third one will not .. and yet it had connected before

any ideas thankyou

Hi maybe it's the wifi in the wii (it might be faulty) Does it connect online with game etc? Oh & is the wii modded? But also try channel six.

thankyou for your reply the is not modded , it does connect to online we have even put the wii mac address in the router but still no luck , it does connect to the port and then you say agree and after about 2 minutes it comes up with a error 3oo27, it seems strange as we have got another chipped wii that we updated fine since then the other wii is not updateing

Hi my suggestion start from scratch wifi settings with wii that works & just do exacly the same with the problem (2nd) wii & see if it connects, & it the problem wii (2nd)does not connect, you know there is a problem with the wii itself!

thankyou for your reply , we have got 3 will consols 2 are chipped and 1 is not , with 1 of the chipped wii consols we updated the system to 4.3e and it worked fine but when trying to update the other 2 wii consols is a problem , we have entred the wii mac address to the router and it does see it there , we have also reset the wii and started again with the internet settings to both of the wii consols , it does see the port and does connect but does not download the update . we have even turned of both firewalls on router and computer but no difference. thankyou

Well i guess you just want to update to 4.3 yes? & if so do you have the original game Metroid other M? It's just cause it has the 4.3 update on the disc, if you dont have it rent it from blockbuster etc maybe? & that will update your wii with out this annoying problem (i'm taking it that the wii you want to update is non modded as do not do an official update either online nor disc with a modded wii as it kills a soft modded wii & kills the out of region discs on Hardmodded wii's!

thankyou for your reply yes i was going to update to 4.3e , i have not got a orignal to metroid other m or trilogy but 2 backups and they work fine , one of the wii's that is chipped has been updated [official] and still works , the wii that is not modded this is the one we are having problems with it , we have got a orignal of indy jones that i know works as when we did a offical update we had to use this to get homebrew etc back on the wii , we are woundering if it is nintendo stopping the update thankyou
