(with a small Retro feel, as in blocky)

No (well, it should be able to be swiped clean with a wet towel, and if you spill out your coffee on it... but not as in "take it to the bathroom" water proof... I want it to be wooden

Yes

10. How tall would you like the pen holding compartment of the lamp to be?
about 2-3 inches tall, so the pens won't fall out. I guess? (not clear on what you mean really)

11. Which 2 colours would you like the lamp to be?
Wooden with Gold details
(or Black with white details)

12. Want colour do you want the decorative light to be?
With LED's: Varying colours!

Else, white/blue-ish
