Well, whats more risky? CFG Loader cancelling a file that's being downloaded or pulling the plug (if unwilling to wait 3 hours for a download to complete
)?
I don't know how you write downloading files to the storage, but would it not be possible to download covers to a cache folder and copying only completed files to the covers directiory? You could then check and clean the cache folder upon startup or after the download queue is completed. I think the chance of corrupting files other than the one in question (which is useless if the download is cancelled anyway) is pretty slim.
It's not the long file downloads that will cause corruption, it's the other ones that do work that could have issues. The file already is downloaded completely into memory before being moved out to an external file; that's not the issue. Adding checks to see if a button is pushed inside the download code adds delays and potential errors that could mess up the download of any file. It's similar issues to this that caused GX to fully corrupt NTFS hard drives.

I have CFG usb loader set to load directly from Priiloader. Is it possible to disable the intro screen or change it? I wanted to add a nice front end intro or disable it entirely.
Thanks,
TriggerX
No. If we can figure out the method to pass command line arguments using the new HBC (it is not well documented), then it is possible we could make the "nointro" option, which is available for the direct launch mode currently, work with other launchers. Note that this will only replace the intro screen with a black screen that takes exactly the same amount of time to go away.
We do, however, welcome submissions for new splash images from time to time. If you believe you could do a better job, then feel free to post it and we will consider adding it to future releases.

Since i´m using CFG usb loader now and enabled the playlog function I want to ask if there is a risk to "mail brick"?
I have not heard of this happening to anyone since I enabled the code, so I have to say: No.

I've been using uloader for the last year and everything i have thrown at it seems to work with 222/223/224.
As uloader looks like it wont be updated in the future I have been trying cfg loader and installed cIOSx rev 20 249 - 56 and 250 - 37.
When I try to boot any game with either 249 or 250 it just hangs...if I use 222 or 223 then it boots fine.
Have tried ciosx rev 17, 19 and 20 and they all hang whatever game i try to boot
have tried version 57 and 58a of cfg loader
wii is 3.2E with cyclowiz
HDD has fat32 partition for mp3 and wbfs partition for games
Any ideas?
