All apps are able to read that file since it contains global settings such as the region, video mode, parental settings, wiimote configs etc. For this reason LibOGC already contains functions to decrypt and parse it.

That would be a nice little feature to add...

WiiWu, may you please try to add the ability to display the serial number in the "Display Wii System Info" section?

...and maybe even a way to modify it too?

...or do you think that to be a tad dubious?

The ability to modify the serial number would most likely make some n00bs think "I can modify my serial number, meaning I can downgrade the IOS on my LU64 Wii!!!111!"

Can't you do that in the MMM IOS Manager already ??

I have a request as well. I always find myself wanting to backup a copy of installed wads that are already on my Wii for various reasons (transferring wads to my other Wii's for 1), I would really like to see a wad creator/dumper added. I use MMM A LOT. A wad creator/dumper like say Wanin's WAD-Creator_v1 would be a very welcome additive to MMM. The problem I keep running into with WAD-Creator is it loads in 249 and usually the wad I want is in 249 or not listed with a name or a slot number. If say this wad dumper or whatever was in MMM I could just load MMM in a different IOS and dump what I want from like IOS Manager via choice or button.

Thanks for a great tool.

just one feature request, can u add the code for TBR v1.13 to MMM? So that 4.3 wii's can easily (or express-ly) install IOS41, downgrade from the latest IOS15, and install a patched IOS36 (latest rev), then restore IOS15?

MMM is a Multi Mod Manager hmmm !?!?!?

The 2 request I put in would be nice. I just have so much I would like to add in to 1 app. If I was smart enough I would add ALL my apps in to this. I got so much stuff I wish 1 app would do. I'm so tired of having 10 apps on my sd. I got 4 kids and they are always wanting this or that done. For example: I got 2 Wii's sitting next to 2 different tv's side by side, but when 1 kid is playing PS3 or the other Wii the other want's to jump on the opposite, well then that kid complains cause his/her save is on the other Wii, whah whah whah, I got to get the game saves off that and transfer them over, like in a hurry, you know how kids are, they lose interest quick. That's just 1 thing though. If I had my way about it MMM would have everything. A game installer/extractor, Mii installer/extractor, folder/file explorer with all the trimmings(cut,copy,paste,delete,rename), an extractor for the Wad Manager, picture viewer (jpg,gif,jpeg,etc.)as well as an mp3 player and all that. I know this is to much to ask and I love MMM as it is, but I would love to see this stuff added. For sure though the things that would be a GREAT asset to MMM is my first 2 request. I feel these would really be great features for MMM adding to the all-in-one tool that it already is.

Again, thanks for this tool, I use it constantly, I tell everyone I can about it, I recommend it all the time. It has been a very useful tool.

i hope that any one here can provide Wiiwu with a source code or Any Region Change or a code that let him able to mod a wii console setting this will make MMM ultimate tool to hack our Wii also to able us to change our region without need for extra tool ARC

Hi guys, been awhile, glad to see it is still pretty stable and useful to you all. Have been away since my Wii went to a nephew. Still trying to get a old Wii that can do boot2 bootmii, just got 1 from ebay with a serial starting with LU51 but it has v4.3!! Seems only way to homebrew it is now to hunt for a SSBB or Lego game.

Just rent SSBB and take it back when your done or buy it used from Gamestop and take it back within 7 days.

I need to do a lot of catching up first, with 4.3 it looks like there are different and more complex ways to softmod now. Correct me or bring me up to speed, I'm seeing currently:

- Game exploit --> hackmii --> HBC --> TBR --> install and load IOS41 (v2835) --> downgrade IOS15 --> patch IOS36 --> freedom

- Game exploit --> hackmii --> cboot2 --> loadmii? --> MMM --> install WADs --> freedom

With 4.3 virgin Wii, where do you guys see MMM able to work best in?

xflak, you ask for a express TBR with ios41 - can this be done manually in MMM currently?

If you could automate this process it would make a TON of newbies happy

And to answer your question to xflak, you can't use MMM to do it currently because it isn't looking for the IOS15 version that is installed. It is looking for the IOS15 from 4.2(523). So I would suggest MMM look and see which version of IOS15 is installed, if it is 523 it would do what it has always done. If it is 1031, then it would grab IOS41 (v2835), install it, and use it to downgrade IOS15 then blah blah...

Nope, currently this is how I do it...

- Game exploit --> hackmii --> HBC --> MMM --> install and load IOS41 (v2835) --> use app manager to launch TBRv1.13--> load IOS41 (if not already loaded)--> downgrade IOS15 --> go back to MMM --> load IOS15 --> install cIOS236 from IOS Manager --> freedom
(this way is easier/faster than loading TBR 3-4 times!)

But w/e express you have available will have to be able to detect what version of IOS15 is installed in order to downgrade it properly and reinstall the same version after express install of IOS36 or 236

FYI, There is a TBR mod of 1.13 which can also install IOS41
