Ok so heres my party (or at least what it will be once all are evolved.

Typhlosion
Butterfree
Pidgeot
Amphaross
Quagsire
Golem

Which i believe is a fairly rounded party, although it is very similar to what ive used in my original Silver game, which is no fun seeing as i like to mix things up a bit.

So here's what i wanted to switch it to.

Typhlosion
Scizzor
Pidgeot
Heracross
Amphaross
Golem

Also looking for other pokemon that might fit in well that arent in there, give me sudgestions on some pokemon to throw in there, but keep in mind that i've only just got my 5th badge (i had to order an AK2i so ive only just been able to start playing)

Give me some tips guys!

I really like it, and it's pretty well balanced.

I like the use of both Scizor and Heracross too, I plan on doing so for my Bug-Only run through.

u need a water poke in there,i recommend removing heracross or sciscor
yeah u need a water pokemon and scizor + heracross are kind of the same pokemon as they essentialy do the same thing
just use the shiny gyarados that you have to fight in the course of the story at the lake of rage and have an ice move on it to take out lance and clair later on

Lol right now i'm at Chuck (the fighting gym) and forgot how terribly behind i was on my levels.
All other gyms were a breeze but i got a kick in the nuts when i realized "Gust" wouldnt cut it from my Pidgeotto. I'm now on a quest to find a TM with a Flying move to upgrade it lol. I also have my Butterfree with Confusion, which should do a good amount of damage, but i never like to rely on one pokemon in a gym.

Back to the point. That looks like an awesome team.

Eventually i wanna make a team consisting of pokemon ive never trained before, just to be real different.

I wish i knew of a way to re-battle trainers in this game, if im correct the only way is to wait for them to call me

Mixed Electivire > than Physical id go with HP ice , Flamethrower , thunderbolt , cross chop your current sets does next to nothing to Vaporeon which are annoying to face

If you want to use a Life Orb Scizor id advise using Bug Bite over Uturn because of STAB technician, also Superpower > Brick Break On Scizor

Im guessing the Tyranitar is your lead i like the set

Dusknoir pretty standard set good

I use a similar Heatran set cept i use hp ice because usually when i switch tran in they switch out to flygon, mence , gliscor and the hp ice OHKOs em id highly recommend

I think for the 6th slot you should go Flygon Scarf'd would be more beneficial than CB Swampert.

Well my story team was
Typhlosion
Noctowl
Onix(got replaced with Lugia)
Ampharos
Victreebel
Poliwhirl

Once I'm gonna go train for competitive battling I'll prolly get a Scizor, Umbreon, Tyranitar, Blissey (for annoying purposes), Skarmory and Arcanine.

Though I love Arcanine, he's not the best fire type to have competitively (but he does kick some ass when he has a Ground type Hidden Power).

Well IIRC Arcanine had better stats than Moltres... so yeah...

In attack and speed, yes, and ony by 5-10 points. But most fire moves are special attacks, and that's where a fire Pokemon should shine.

But given Arcanines moveset, he seems to revolve mostly around attack... Plus, with Thunder Fang and ExtremeSpeed, he could esily take on a Moltres.

I guess you're right. He is indeed a fine fire type Pokemon to have.
