Someone told me that this undub makes the game much more easy. What exactly did you changed BoxShot? Only movies and audio files?

He simply replaced the japanese sound files with the sound files in the english version that´s all (works with many NDS games the same way depends always on the filestructure of the game) and this shouldn´t effect the game itself since it´s just sound

I tried to use the xdelta patch on a clean rom, but it returned a 236.6 MB rom that doesn't work.

I don't know about you, but I would want to swap the intro FMV in the USA Version with the Japanese one.
The music in the Japanese one fits the film better than the USA one.
Listen to both of them. The FMV seems fit for an intro theme, while there is some dramatic music that just destroys the intro. Of course, if you never played the Japanese version then you won't notice this, but I still think that if they did not audio-swap the music track of the intro FMV I would be able to stand the game a little bit more. Where is the FMV in the ROM located? I want to swap them!

Could someone upload a video of a voice scene with an undubbed rom? I'm not planning to undub my rom, but i'm curious to hear what the JP scenes are like.

The undub and the normal release of the game, for me the music goes crazy sometimes after I save.
Using R4 with Ysmenu, does anyone else have this problem?

Yeah, it happens to me sometimes (usually the first time I save when I start playing, then I reset and it hasn't happened again).

I'm using using the R4YSauto with the new v.1.17a12 of DSTT.

It seems to be flashcart problem, I'm using EDGE 1.6 and I save a lot but I don't have that kind of problem.
The jap music&voices are louder than the US (I have to set the volume to max in order to hear the intro movie's music), this undub patch rocks

Ok, at first I was kinda sceptical coz I like the english dub. But after playing the undubbed Version I loved it! Deleted the us-dub version short after that

Dunno if it's easy or hard to undub the rom (downloaded an undubbed one) but it's worth it!

The music glitch may not be the patch's fault. While playing the ummodified rom on my ysmenu R4, I encountered a sound glitch after saving. One note would play and just go on and on.

So... maybe a faulty dump?

edit: oh, didn't notice the other posts. So then maybe its just the R4 being shit then.

Does this undub switch the music to the Japanese original? I'd rather the USA release's music.

EDIT: Also, if anyone's interested, the animation after the intro video where the game's logo appears is a separate video to the intro itself, so for the sake of consistency, keeping the USA m05U.mods in the movie folder will make the "Sands of Destruction" logo appear rather than "World Destruction". I get that most of you would prefer the latter (personally I don't particularly care either way), but I'd at least prefer that the same name be used uniformly rather than having it jump around annoyingly.

The audio glitch for me sounds really messed up. I said it before it sounded like Dial Up connecting on steroids. It only happens after I've been playing awhile, if I load the game, play for a few minutes and save it's usually fine. But after a while longer, I'll go to save and as it saves I hear the music skip or slow down, then after that it's anarchy coming from my DSlite speakers.

i dont have any sound glitches , but the US BGM's are a lot louder so to make a good undub you must exchange the 1 file in the data folder i mean the 01.iear (iear is an archive type full name is imageepoch archive) , that file has the BGM's . so whoever made the patch do a remake of this , because the US BGM's are so loud that i cant hear the VA .

There's an option to turn the BGM's volume down.. XD

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
BakerMan @ BakerMan: idk how hot of a take this is, but science as a subject sucks
