This game looks great and I really like the single-player approach of this game rather the more multiplayer-oriented gameplay of the other CC-games.

Wow, totally forgot this was out so soon. Gonna wait 'till the US release (only a month and a half away) on this one, but I'll definitely keep an eye on impressions.

In a way you are right, FF don't sell on Nintendo plataforms after the SNES...because Nintendo plataforms after the SNES haven't FF games to be sold...

Yes, FF 'games".. ( aka the classic turn and play curse, and the looong magic aniamtions, summons and all ).. but THIS is not THAT... just wears the name Final Fantasy, same as Christal Chronicles did.... and you know the rest.
Because Squareupenix had a long time deal with Sony to release FF games on PS platform until they saw Ps3 selling like crap ( Sorry Ps3 fanboys..) and decided to port over the 360. This game is going to sell normal... but is not a FIRST party game from Nintendo like NSMB Wii.

It got a "relatively" lame score from Famitsu, aka FF fanboys. It's not like I care; Final Fantasy is either you're a fanboy and buy every single game they excrete or you don't like it at all. I'm the latter.

Might have to do with the fact that every Final Fantasy game on any Nintendo platform after the SNES has sucked ass. Well, maybe except for the Tactics games.

I, for one, never had great expectations in the game and also told exactly that to other people, and there's been like one universal reaction from them: They don't give a shit as long as the game still offers the slightest amount of fun, because they apparently can't help it but buy anything with the name "Mario" on it. Take my word, NSMB will be the best-selling Wii game for years to come.
I mean, you could basically take any Wii game, no matter how crappy, give it a red packaging, and people would be all over it. "It's red, so it must be special! Oh, and it's even a Mario game! How could I not buy this for my kids?"

Is a NINTENDO game, has Mario on it, says "NEW" ... no chance to fail.
On the other hand, this pseudo FF game, is aiming at a much much narrow market, AND facing piracy, AND facing a Nintendo first party game..
