I thought it was already out in Jap. Now let's wait till 26 december. Still, it's a pretty fast release after the jap version
With Mario bros out this game doesnt stand a chance...
Mario bros comes out in Japan december 3. Even with mario, final fantasy will always be the top priority of the japanese gamers.
While I really want this, I think I'll just wait til dec 26th. Got mine pre-ordered
final fantasy games sell like utter crap on any nintendo platform after the SNES. This is going to bomb very badly in japan.
Ooo, out already. I really hope this game does well, looks like they put a lot of work into it.
... right after DragonQuest!!!
This game looks great and I really like the single-player approach of this game rather the more multiplayer-oriented gameplay of the other CC-games.
actually nsmbw isn't as good as it's hype
this will beat it for sure.
Yep i somehow think that even tho this is not going to beat NSMB WII in sales. It will still be a title worthwhile playing.
Lets hope it delivers
Gonna wait for the english dub for me
Wow, totally forgot this was out so soon. Gonna wait 'till the US release (only a month and a half away) on this one, but I'll definitely keep an eye on impressions.
N64 has no FF games, Cube has only a Multiplayer Coop game and the Wii finally got this.
In a way you are right, FF don't sell on Nintendo plataforms after the SNES...because Nintendo plataforms after the SNES haven't FF games to be sold...
w00t but i also pre ordered mine for christmas
guess ill wait
I didnt say the game looks bad at all, but we must admit, with all the piracy and lack of hardcore players with $$ to support the sales will be pretty hard, compared to the soft spot NSMB is aiming for... just take Wii Fit Plus...
It got a "relatively" lame score from Famitsu, aka FF fanboys. It's not like I care; Final Fantasy is either you're a fanboy and buy every single game they excrete or you don't like it at all. I'm the latter.
And you think the fact that NSMB isn't actually as good as its hype will stop people from buying it?
I, for one, never had great expectations in the game and also told exactly that to other people, and there's been like one universal reaction from them: They don't give a shit as long as the game still offers the slightest amount of fun, because they apparently can't help it but buy anything with the name "Mario" on it. Take my word, NSMB will be the best-selling Wii game for years to come.
I mean, you could basically take any Wii game, no matter how crappy, give it a red packaging, and people would be all over it. "It's red, so it must be special! Oh, and it's even a Mario game! How could I not buy this for my kids?"
NSMB maybe is not as good as an old Mario platform.. BUT, as an example I can get my wife to play the game with me.. and even if is not a GREAT VISUAL looking game as a PS3 or 360 game, or even the best Wii game... she enjoys it!! and I am sure is the case on many homes... Now lets try that with other MP games.. not same reaction. NSMB is a platform that blend experient gamers, newcomers, casual, and maybe other type of gamers to the same screen.
Is a NINTENDO game, has Mario on it, says "NEW" ... no chance to fail.
On the other hand, this pseudo FF game, is aiming at a much much narrow market, AND facing piracy, AND facing a Nintendo first party game..
Ugh.. so many good games this month...
Imma wait for the english one instead of getting this one
