ROM Hack pokemon soul sliver to heart gold

hello all

i was woundering if i can trade from soul sliver to heart gold that are both on my card at the same time can i trade between them? liuke a homebrew method or something

You really shouldn't need to trade. I mean, you can use the same gamesave for both games, so you can get all the "unique" Pokemon from both games on the same gamesave.

Also, you can probably trade from one to somebody else, like your friend, and then trade to the other game.

theres no points in using the same gamesave for both? it means you'll progress through each game at the exact same level, with the exact same pokemon...where the fun in that? blatantly not the way to play!

becasue i wanna get 2 of the 3 starters lol so i need to use my heart goldso i cant trade between my 2 saves

you can't trade using 1 ds and 1 flashcart.

If it's possible at all, it would most likely be able to be done using an emulator such as no$gba.

I got a solution. Use a save editor, when one's released in English, and save the .pkmn file of whomever you're trading. Then delete/release that Pokemon, and save the .pkmn file to your new game.

There is an easy way of getting multiple starters:
I used the "Can Catch Trainer's Pokemon" cheat from the GBAtemp Cheats Forum to catch my rival's starter in Azalea Town - that is two starters.
Then I caught the second trainer's Bulbasaur on Route 34 - that makes 3 starters and I only have 2 badges so far.
There was a Charmander, a Squirtle and another Bulbasaur in Union Cave in the original Gold and Silver - I expect to catch one of those.

well if you have a DSI then this problem will be solved soon by an app called

"Pokemon Box" DSi App

it allows you to put a Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart gold, soul silver

and place them into this box stored in the DSI memory and then you can transfer to another cart

so keep you eyes out

No, the next rival battle he will have higher level pokemon.
You can catch any of them too.

In order to use cheats, you will also need to change the Game ID for the patched and trimmed rom file.
It is IPKJ BD9D2F31 for 4159 Pokemon Heart Gold (J) Kazo v3b.nds,
Game ID is IPGJ BB4BC92C for 4160 Pokemon Soul Silver (J) Kazo v3b.nds.
ID for 4160 Pokemon Soul Silver (J) Raqib12 v3.nds is IPGJ B4D8AB2F.
It changes for every one of Kazo's or Raqib12's releases.
If you have a different rom or do not know what you have, you need to get r4cce and learn how to use it -
especially the ... button by the Game ID boxes.
