Hacking My Ds tank do not detect my r4I gold

Hi everyone,here is my problem:
I bought a R4I gold and used it a month,and one day,I was playing when the game blocked. So I powered off and then on, but my Ds did not detect my R4I.Do somebody know why? If so can you tell me how to resolve this problem?

I tried,but no change,the ds do no detect the R4I.I tried to put another game to see if it is the R4I or the Ds but the other game work so...

Sound more like a contact issue. try slipping a folded up piece of paper into your slot-1 along with the flash cart. (Put the piece of paper on the label side of the cart.) That should push it over enough to give you a good contact. Also make sure the contacts on the cart are clean and shiny.

Test the R4 in another DS and see if that works.

are you using DSi? did you update your DSi to 1.4?
if yes you can throw away your r4i gold for another flash cart
i am not trying to be mean.
it is because there isn't any fix for r4i GOLD to bypass firmware 1.4

EDIT: they now provide a patch

I tried the piece of paper'thing but it is not workink,I checked the contact(it was shiny and clean),I'm not using a DSi,I have the first Ds(Phat or tank,choose the one you like more).I will try on another Ds when I can.

maybe it is a dead flash kart?

sometimes this is what i will do
just try to push the kart into the slot harder

Try these steps I compiled maybe they can help you.

How To Troubleshoot Your Flashcart:

STEP 1: Make sure you're not using the card reader that comes with the flashcart. Buy your own. Always use the "Add/Remove Hardware Safely" function before removing the reader.
STEP 2: Check your microSD card for smudges on the contacts. Clean with a QTIP. You can add a bit of alcohol onto the QTIP, if wanted.
STEP 3: Check your Flashcart for any abrasions or smudges on the contacts. Clean with a QTIP. You can add a bit of alcohol onto the QTIP, if wanted.
STEP 4: Possibly, your Flashcart is not making perfect contact the DS. Try the "Paper Shim Trick" to close the gap and make the space tighter.
STEP 5: Copy all of your games and saves off your microsd card to your computer (BACKUP). Download the latest "Panasonic SD Formatter" and do a full format with this application. Install the latest firmware again from a different/reliable site. Then add on your games and saves to the newly formatted card.
STEP 6: If the latest firmware doesn't work sometimes downgraded firmwares can achieve working results. Try downgrading, if it doesn't resolve just go back up to the latest firmware again.
STEP 7: There are times where the official firmware for your specific cart isn't up to par with the alternatives created. Try a legit alternative firmware for your flashcart. eg, (DSTT/R4 -->YSMENU), (Acekard--->AKAIO), (M3 DS Real---> Sakura) so forth..
STEP 8: If you're using cheats maybe they are faulty. Get rid of them and get them from a reliable source.
Or just dont put them on period.
STEP 9: Possibly the "GAMES/ROMS" you have are faulty. Obtain ones from a new location...
STEP 10: Try another DS. If possible.
STEP 11: If all else fails, get a new Flashcart and/or MicroSD Card from a reputable site.

Hi everyone,thanks for your answers:
Step 1:I use an adaptator I bought a long time ago and it works perfectly with the micro-Sd I use with my mobile phone.
Step 2 and 3:Both are clean and they shine.
Step 4,5 and 6: Done but no result.

Step 7:Can somebody tell me some good copies of the R4?? I will do some research but if i miss one or two....
Step 8:I don't use cheats.
Step 9 and 10

one but no result(the other Ds do not detect the R4I gold).
Step 11:I think I will buy a new one when I will go back to China,but can you help me choose? Which one is better?
