Works with me on Windows 7 RTM build 7600 32-bit

Well, I'm on 64-bit. Perhaps it makes a difference. Either way, it only works for me when I use Windows XP in a virtual machine. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong?

Oh well. At least I can get it to work now.

@ wiipower. max number of quotes

I cant tell if it finds the cheats or not the game loads too fast. But I did notice that when I select the first hooktype, I believe its VBI or something like that, that it reports no sd or usb codes found. I can tell because it hangs for a second. So what hooktype is required for VC or WW games? Also I cant test the cheats with Gecko OS because the games are from an emulated nand.

Hi i dont know if this is a known error but i launched the new TriiForce Beta5 (after installing SF2 Turbo) and everything ran well i booted up the game but i forgot i lent out my GC control so i went to go back to the wii menu but when i pressed home nothing came up (Not surprised about that) but what surprised me was after a hard reset my wiimotes were not recognized by the wii and i had to resync them is this normal?

This also happenes after every single other game i play and they will only resync after a hard reset.

anyone figure out a fix for exiting Triiforce and the application crashing, causing a hard shutdown? Hold the power button in until it shuts off.

Every game I exit, it crashes.

I have tried everything. USB and SD cards.

Are you playing games from emulated nand or original nand?

I also get the crashing(just a black screen with nothing else) and have to hard reset the wii.

The only thing i found that fixes it is when exiting a game and hitting the home button the wii remote.
First hit reset this will take you back to the games start screen.
Then hit the home button again and then select wii menu.
It should take you back to the wii's main menu now instead of a black screen.

That worked!! Thanks icpmattj.

Finally got around to testing this today. On my SDHC cards (a 4GB and a 16GB) I get this after selecting to use SD-NAND:

Loading...Error: could not get dir entry count! (result: -1)
Reading folder /title/00010001 failed
Error getting the title list
Press any button

At which point the remote will not sync and I am forced to hard shut down the Wii.

Copied the exact same files to a vanilla 2GB sd card, and of course it works fine and I was able to successfully boot a few VC titles.

This app is brilliant, and one of the biggest things to happen to the scene since USB loading

Well done to all of those involved!

I have the exact same issue with my SDHC card running rev14 CIOS. Is there a fix for this? I have the dumped nand on the root of my SD card.

Worked for me too on 4.1U using a 4GB Kingston Data Traveler. At first I put all files from the nand dump in a folder called nand. That didn't work. Put all the files by themselves on the ROOT of the USB Stick and it worked fine. Seemed like a slow install of the Wiiware but it did work. Great work all, and thanks!

i dont no if its been answered before but ive done a FS dump, but i have WW & VC games on another sd used the wii sysmenu in 4.1 to tranfer them to sd, giving u the private folder on the sd.

the question is, how do i transfer them to the FS dump, which folder would they go in as the FS dump hasnt a private folder?

thanks

ok so say if i get really far in a virtual console or wiiware game that is installed on a usbNAND (lets just say i got 100/120 stars in sm64) and i wanted a physical legit save on my wii or sd card, just incase i wanted to install the wad on my real nand later. how would i go about doing this, as this doesnt leave a trace of the save file on the nand?

im assuming once the full nand loader comes out i can just emulate the nand and move the save to my sd card, but i dont know how to do it currently

You could transfer them back to the menu from sd and do another fsdump

it would take me days, i have only 600 blocks on the wii left and about 1.3GB of WW & VC on the sd alone, i would only be able to do 2 at at time at the most. ive found an app that unpacks the .wad itself and creates the needed folders(ticket, title) for the dump, all i have do do is copy and paste the new folders in with the ones in the dump and im away...

Further testing Triiforce, I can't get any of the "Strong Bad" titles to work. They either green screen or give reading errors. Everything else I've tested still runs fine though.

And I let them sit there for a while, and they won't load unlike doing the same thing will do for games like Mega Man 9.

So I finally got Triforce working properly, but I can't use the devices that I want to. Triforce can mount my backup nand if I use my sd card, or my 2gb pen drive. However, I want to use my 8gb flash drive, but it gives me the ret = -1 error in Triforce (not a WadManager issue). I don't understand because this same drive (without reformatting) can play videos in MPlayer CE, launch roms from almost all the emus, and boot Wii games from a WBFS partition. The drive is 100% compatible with every other application on the Wii. I've tried both USB ports, reformatting (always set to active/primary partition), with one and multiple partitions. Triforce simply won't mount the drive, so I'm stuck with a 2gb limitation for now (not a complaint).

Some games launch great from Triforce, but the majority of my games brings me to an error message, and I have to hard/shut-down my Wii. On games that I know are NTSC (my console region), I still get this error, and I've tried every possible patching/video combination possible. I know all the bugs aren't worked out, so I'm not concerned, and I do have working games.

I'd just like to know what I could possibly do to make my 8gb flash drive work with Triforce. Everything else recognizes it except this application.

I got one game that will not work for anything from emulated nand.

Contra III the alien wars.

It will work from real nand just fine.

It will not work from emulated usb nand(default settings)
I've tried it with every combo of settings nothing works.

I've tried playing it after installing it with wad manager 1.5 = no go
says my wii system memory is bad.

*another note* wad manager will not let me uninstall the wad from emulated nand.Always comes up with an error.

I've tried playing it after installing it with w2n(regular way and installing it with a batch file) and it either black screens or green screens.

There are other games too but i cant remember them all,but i think some are due to the way they were installed.

I installed a large number of wads(43) with w2n with the batch file found in an earlier post and none of the games will load from emulated nand.I then deleted them all and installed only a couple of them using batch file and they loaded just fine from emulated nand.

*They either gave a black/green screen or gave the message please eject disc turn off console refer to owners manual*

So maybe there is a limit to the number you can install using a batch file.

I cant get beat.trip core to run no matter what settings i use, it freezes after the "hold remote sideways" screen. ntsc wad on ntsc system.

also, i get mostly code dumps with majoras mask ntsc, although i did get it to run once randomly, but it took FOREVER to get past the spinning N load screen

both using usbNAND

EDIT: just tried using my sd card and bit.trip core wont even start and majoras mask loses sync at the "classic controller" screen and i have to reboot and resync my wiiremote. both seem like they arent workin with this release!

I'm sure you've made sure it's fat32 not fat or fat16 right ???? All my other apps like GX and emu's all work on my usb as a fat32 partition but Triiforce won't work on my USB-HD without it being FAT32 (active) partition. For those who don't know, I was getting the -1 error also. Not saying that's what your problem is, just saying.
