Costello--I got a bug which slipped past your beta testers...

Roms nos. 1073 and 1328...appear to both be (U) releases of KOF EX2: Howling Blood.

According to PocketHeaven, not so. 1073 is the (E) dump of the game...

Just thought you'd like to know--and so all us (U) enthusiasts aren't confused...

Unless you pretend to use OfflineList PNG's, and you are about to do a whole new bunch, may I suggest that, before making the available for download, you pass them through AdvanceCOMP or PNGCrush? You will save a lot of bandwidth as they will weight considerably less. OfflineList's for example can be cut to more than 50% in size without any sort of loss, but I guess it is now too late for OfflineList to do it, since they also detail the screenshot's CRC32 in their dat (in case some old screenshots are updated for whatever reason), and that would imply that all users should redownload all images. This is why, although I already mentioned this to Costello in another thread, and do not want to buzz, I insist (for last time) on the subject, because I do think this is important and once you have began to distribute the screenshots I guess it will be too late to take that option into account.

not at all. We are making all new screenshots (you will check that when you see the name "costello" in almost every game in which you can enter you nickname - same for Angelical_1)

but we have no bandwidth problems

Suggestion: List Playable Games Only at startup of GBArms......
EDIT: Another suggestion: List Favorites at startup......

More EDIT: Put the highlighted game on startup not on 0001 - F-Zero (J) but on lastest release..... or in last played game.....

i think that option will be more comfortable to players........

tnx..........

Nice program, however I found a few errors in the database, etc.

1319 should be Blue Moon, not Blue Sun.
775 and 766 have eachother's NFO files instead of their own. However I think this is a problem with the site I'm getting it from and not GBArms.

I think I saw a few more, but I'm not sure.

@Costello: It seems you disabled GBArms Links Exchange Center, and it will be re-opened when version 3.01 of GBArms is released. but for those people (as me) using G-Links Offline List Plugin, this new security features will allow us to continue using it? Do we need a newer version plugin or it needs some features OL desn't have?

No Requests Please !!

Costello has already posted that the links in GBArms 3 are disabled atm.. 3.01 is due in the next few days.

With regards to release 1073 and 1328.

The only list I found reference of "1073 - The King of Fighters EX2 - Howling Blood (U)(9E8BAA87)" was in the current GoodGBA 2.01 set. This release lists as "King of Fighters EX2, The - Howling Blood (U) [a1]" (an alternate release)... thus, and with accordence to the Serial this release is indeed a (U) and will NOT be changed to (E).

I know this is confusing, though, unfortunately GBA-Renamer numbering system does not permit deletion of releases that date back too far. In this case I doubt it will be removed.

A *possible* solution has been discussed by Costello and myself, this however would not be (if) implimented within 3.01 or 3.02.

Kind Regards on behalf of Costello and myself.

@Costello:
Suggestion:

Renaming 100% from gba roms dat file.
like 0001 - F-Zero (J)(Independent)(Size-Stripped)

(just an example)
Would need ROM Status like No Intro, Size Stripped, etc.

still using gba renamer for gba renaming. For it has the rom status in renaming filess.

thanks a lot

window resizing IS already fixed in version 3.01 which you can download from his homepage.

but now i have a problem, i can't see any images, though i've downloaded them again from gbarms 3.01...

and the unzip rom function is gone (which was essential, imho)
