Hacking Is there a quick way to download all the source files from an app from

Hi.

I'm trying to grab all the source files for the newest version of coverfloader, but its really annoying to grab each file one by one. is there an actual way to grab the entire source?

Sorry if that is a stupid question, I'm new to all of this.

Get some type of SVN client. I use TortoiseSVN but there are probably better/less intruisive ones. All you have to do is put in the link and it downloads everything.

ah, that did the trick. Thank you very much.

now, I do have 1 more question.

Is there a folder that I should put any apps I am compiling into before doing so?

I heard that sometimes it can be picky what folder it is in.

I tried from the root of the c drive, from a folder called "download", from inside the devkit folder, always get this same error while compiling.

Any ideas?

You will need to update to the latest devkitpro.

I already did. I even double checked by using the built in updater. (I am at 1.5.0)

I also have the newest libogc I believe.(libogc_2009-06-07)
If it isn't, where exactly do I grab it from?

So, yeah, I don't think that is the problem.

Try using the svn libogc

use your SVN client to grab the code, run "make" then "make install"

you should also grab the current libfat as they go in pairs

http://devkitpro.svn.sourceforge.net/svnro...ro/trunk/libfat

to compile & install, run "make ogc-install"

ah, so i did come across it.

I really do appreciate the help Jacobeian. To be honest, its hard to find guides for this stuff.

ok, i grabbed them, I have them in thier folders at the root of my c drive.

now, what exactly do you mean by run "make" then "make install"?

like I said, I am new to Devkitpro, so sorry for my ignorance. I am trying to learn, so if you can help me understand a little better, it would be appreciated.

The only thing I've done with it was use .pnproj files.

Open CMD and type something like

cd /libogc
"make"
"make install"
cd..
cd /libfat
"make-ogc install"

EDIT: Looks like something in Coverflow is overriding the libogc....ie same function name with different return value and arguments
EDIT2: I smell missing #ifndef header guards....

That is what I was figuring too.

So, I am doing it right, its simply something off in the source code then?
