Hacking USB Loader GX

I have one little suggestion. Not important at all, just a visual thing.
Whenever the keyboard is used I think it should have a background for the popup if possible. Instead of the keys just kinda floating on the screen. The background wouldnt cover the whole screen, just the little bit of the keyboard. I think it would look better. Just my opinion..

They go in config.txt. And they're singular, so it's "cover_path" and "disc_path".

Are you sure? ...because I just found THIS in the Wiki. In that link, it shows "covers_path" and "disc_path".

It is cover_path

You can use my site now.... I am still working on the display and download function, but uploading works. You can upload them as boot.dol or boot.zip actually the name can be anything you want, but will be renamed by whatever name you type in but the extension has to be .dol or .zip I will PM you the password so only you can upload them. If someone else does revisions and needs access, ask me and I can get you access to upload as well.

Also, the show_tooltips config option is working perfectly, so thanks for that.

But I'm having issues with using a theme and the Wii menu button. When I hover across it, it'll give me a white semi-oval. If you want to reproduce this, use this theme: http://wii.spiffy360.com/getfile.php?id=23. I'm using it on a widescreen TV if that helps you at all.

Are covers supposed to download automatically if the sd:/images/ folder is empty? I'm using the r171 dol, and the first page says it now supports downloading of images, but nothing seems to happen. I can't spend as much time reading up on this right now, because I spent the last month trapped inside the Ultimate USB loader (my turn) thread, and now I'm behind in life

A few things.

Im using r186 from a couple posts above this one.

My config looks like this

cover_path=SD:/images/
disc_path=SD:/images/disc/
wtheme_path=SD:/apps/Gui/themes/
godmode=1

I can put w in front of the cover_path and disc_path and all covers/discs still show up.

Using it that way my theme shows up,but if i take the w off the front it defaults to the regular default background.

Also for some reason if im using the default background my theme.txt doesnt take affect at all.Names and IDs are shown even though i have turned off.Also show_tooltip is turned off in config and still shows when default theme is used.

Also when using my custom theme.I turn show_tooltip off in my theme.txt and all the tool tips are off except for the tooltip for the button that says Wii.That tooltip says on regardless and the tooltip for it is just an empty white bubble with no text in it all.

it seems as though the tooltips continue to show up when hovering over the Menu button even when turned off. The others buttons stop showing tooltips, but the menu doesn't stop.

I am using R186 with my LeoWii theme...

Will someone please add a "titles_file" variable which will allow for a custom location of the "titles.txt" file?

My background.png file has to be named wbackground.png

If its not then the default them is used.

That's only if you have a widescreen TV. If you have a regular 4:3 TV, then the background.png file will show up.

That's only if you have a widescreen TV. If you have a regular 4:3 TV, then the background.png file will show up.

Yep! There's no need to set a widescreen config.

Also, now that r187 seems to fix most of the bugs, I have a few requests in regards to themes. My theme I'm using has custom pointers, named "player1_point.png, player2_point.png" and so on. If those could be enabled, that would be great! Also, I think I speak for a lot of theme developers when I say that it would be great to be able to move the battery positions. In the case of the theme I'm using, they're supposed to be on top, but they sort of look out of place on the bottom. If those 2 options are enabled then the customization for themes could go way up!

Yep! There's no need to set a widescreen config.

That's what i figured.

Now if only i could make halfway decent themes but everytime i open photoshop and try i close it out just ask quick as i open it.

And next time, be sure you know exactly what you're talking about before you post something in the issues section of the google code page. You don't want to waste the developer's time with errors that aren't the fault of the developers

Is show_tooltip config is in config.txt or in the theme.txt in the theme dir ?
