Yes it is luck entirely. I have low speed but very good strength and insane agility. I lost all but 2 fights of many until I got a sword at lv4 and now I can do well unless someone cheapos in with a dog and weapons and it's over. It's all random so you really can't so much 'win' until you load up on a few weapons and a pile of those boxes with skills in it. I got like herculean strength, cat like reflexes, and some other one and sword use. Strength allows for a slow and if it hits(not common) big hit, cat like lets me dodge/dodge-counter/run in and double strike, and well sword is umm obvious.

I always suck when I have to fight one of those people with a bear or wolf.

When I got a club and the cat like reflexes, I started owning, until I then saw people with those animals. xD

Seems to me the strongest weapon is the hammer, I hope I get that soon, right now all I have is a mace, feck.

Just had to fight some hoe with a wolf and a bear, 2 flippin animals?!

Owning doesn't consist of winning by having about 1-2HP left. Considering you had more weapons and strength, I'd say it like any battle of the game is luck and you had extra in that one.

Just got to the 13th round of a tournament on my level 7, so i'm now officially ranked (1,350).

With a max hit of 155 so far, i just need a shield or a pet and i'll be able to progress much further in tournaments.

All tourney winners I've seen have been lvl 40+.

Level 11 is the lowest leveled Brute to come 1st in a Tournament.

Allot of lower ones get pretty far though.
