I just finished downloaded de Blob, and sadly I found out it doesn't work for the new baclup launcher 0.3, so I patched it to hopefully work with the older one. Anyway, I was wondering how I write it to the dvd. I have ImgBurn up, everything selected and ready to start, but I have a couple of questions:

Do I need to change the booktype thing, or even touch it?
If so, I don't know what DVD drive I have, so how do I find out, and pick the right one when changing the booktype thing?
Is DVD RW alright to use?

I tried using the search function, but I coluldn't find any definate answers. Thanks.

DVD-RW is not such a good idea, most people seem to be having problems with that, you'd best stick to DVD-R or use DVD+R, when using DVD+R you should change the booktype to DVD-ROM

Right, if I get the -'s, do I not have to worry about the booktype thing?

And also, if I found out a game plays on backup launcher 0.3, I got a bit confused, but do I not need to patch the game? Do I just burn the iso? Thanks for your replies by the way.

DVDrw never usually work, always have error, - or +RW, also brand doesn't really matter too much, aslong as you stick with -Rs. and for someone that's burnt about 250 wii isos, and never fail, Ritek G05 Ice are the best, UKs best selling

I just bought Kodak DVD-R's. I'm about to burn my first game, but seeing as I can't redo this, what speed should I write it at? The DVD's are 8x, and I'm planning to play de Blob with the backup launcher 0.1 because it apparently doesn't work with the new one. That means it's patched.

Thanks.
