Boot Toaster NX
An easy to use web based generator for making your own Atmosphere boot logo (IPS patches) and Hekate splash (bootlogo.bmp). No GitHub account, fork, or Actions wait needed.

How to use
  1. Open Boot Toaster NX, drop in your logo and/or splash art
  2. Click Create for SD (a zip will download in the browser, nothing is uploaded)
  3. Copy atmosphere/ and/or bootloader/ onto the SD card
  4. For the Hekate splash, edit bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini:
Code:
[config]
bootwait=3

[CFW - emuMMC]
logopath=bootloader/bootlogo.bmp

Where to find Logos and Splashes
You can drop any image or wallpaper in and it will be formatted correctly for the logo or splash - experiment and have fun!

If you're looking for premade logos or reference, there is a great collection here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/custom-boot-logo-for-switch.569031/page-33#post-10662039
and hekate splash art here:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/share-your-custom-hekate-bootlogo-thread.513033/
and here:
https://themezer.net/switch/splashes

Atmosphere triangle logo (aka Sept logo)
Please note that the small Atmosphère triangle after Hekate's splash is baked into AMS and is not an SD drop-in (requires AMS recompile - which this app does not do). For more information about Boot order see binkinator's Splash Screens post.

Inspiration
This started as a companion to RobZilla10001's Automatic BootLogo Creator. The page layout is inspired by alula's hbpatcher. IPS generation is based on friedkeenan/switch-logo-patcher.

It doesn't work, I always get a black screen during boot (no logo)...i'm drag and drop some of the custom logo found from this link https://gbatemp.net/threads/custom-boot-logo-for-switch.569031/page-33#post-10662039

But it showing black screen ?!

Hey @Odilant, thanks for reporting!

To confirm you are using the images from that link with Boot Toaster NX then copying the resulting package to atmosphere/exefs_patches/logo/ and getting black screen. If so can you share your current setup - Hekate + atmosphere version and firmware version?

Just want to rule out you're not using the packages from the switch thread since they are for older firmware.

Hekate splash worked like a charm, but was unable to get the Switch logo to work

Amazing, thanks for letting me know and sharing the files! Glad the splash is working.

If you don't mind can you share your current setup - Hekate + atmosphere version and firmware version?

That's super helpful thanks @Odilant !

It would definitely be worth trying on PC Windows or your Mobile Device, I haven't tested on Switch Linux/Android browsers. If it works then some browsers/setups might not be currently supported - would be good to know.

I just updated support up to Firmware 23, and Firmware 22.5 was already covered so it should work.

Can you also have a look inside the exported .zip from your Linux setup to make sure it contains:
9527BE3A3BAAFBFB987A6DE1B62EF4792C01A19E.ips (That's the logo file for 22.5).

I just drag this logo found in the gbatemp thread link

And it's already showing black screen on the Boot Toaster NX webb app

Again i'm using Switch linux google webb app and yeah the zip file got the all the ips but still black screen with no logo after install...However, deleting all ips files restore the default nintendo switch white logo.

I'll try pc windows later but shame it doesn't work...i usually (like always) download and doing stuff using my Switch (not pc)
i hoping to do that thing of changing logo easily but i guess i can't and need a pc windows in the end, too bad.

You rock, thanks for the detailed info.

This is likely a Switch Android browser image loading bug.

I've applied a patch - can you clear your cache in that browser if possible, hard refresh and try again - you should hopefully see the preview in the Boot Toaster NX logo drop zone - if it previews Create for SD should work too.
