I just don't play games with denuvo. I don't want that crap on my PC. I'll wait until the devs remove denuvo or there is a leaked denuvoless build, as often happens. Or I'll just play it on switch, or not play it at all.

How do you catch someone that's maybe using a virtual machine and a burner phone as a wifi hotspot to connect to a vpn which is connected to an onion network? Especially if that username is unknown and mutliple people have the same username?
If they are using windows 11 there is a unique id tied to the system. it can identify you regardless of using a vpn. Its there even if you are not using a microsoft account. Its how a recent hacker using ransom ware got caught.
so the hacker better not have been using windows 11 at all. For that persons sake, they have better be using linux.

Hence using a VM. But you're correct Windows 11 is nothing more than a giant advert and spying machine. I had it for about a day and went back to 10, But if I wanted to do anything dodgy I'd always use a VM with linux mint or similar non spying OS.
Not because they won't catch anyone, as both options of voices being either caught or not are valid. But because, by using that option, they show they have no other options.
If they could simply counter the crack, they would have done it before laughing at voices' face. But they can't, so that's why they resort to legal threats.
And that, ladies, gentlemen and trolls, is how Denuvo admits defeat. I raise my glass to voices for that victory.

I kinda disagree, but yea I do hate Denuvo none the less. That Voices user will be looking over his/her shoulder, staying in the shadows rest of his/her life. This may never lead to anything for Denuvo as a persay win, but it will haunt Voices and others for years to come. Paranoia alone will get them in the long run.

This is almost certainly symbolic, unless they find a way to identify him, and that he's within jurisdiction for them to apply charges and fees nothing will come of it, it's just a way to seem tougher than they really are.
Getting the default judgment will allow Denuvo to demand that Reddit, Valve and Discord not only reveal what they know about those account(s), but get those accounts banned. Voices38 has already laughed off the lawsuit, likely indicating that he lives somewhere safe and/or was smart about not leaving a digital trail. Or he's US-based, cocky, and about to go down.
I know who I'm rooting for! Fck Denuvo and fck DRM!
Really? You don't get that 100% of Denuvo's revenues come from these games being secured whereas the game companies still make a boatload from legit buyers? The real injured party is Denuvo. Which I'm quite happy about.

And Interpol is not what you think. It just coordinates activities between investigating national agencies.
Such as the FBI.

Not compared to cost damaged like Dotcom caused but damn
U.S. authorities say Dotcom and three other Megaupload executives cost film studios and record companies more than $500 million by encouraging paying users to store and share copyrighted material, which generated more than $175 million in revenue for the website.
If the amount gets to that high of lengths then surely they could extradite voices38 regardless of location.
Great news everybody: Voices38 just released three new Denuvo hacks today. Well, one was an update to one of his previous ones. As predicted, he has not given up, has kept his actual identity private (unlike that clown Kim Dotcom), and is carrying on with business as usual as if nothing has changed, including still accepting donations.
You can "sue" a John Doe defendant like Voices 38. But as long as they remain anonymous, the suit and it's outcome are absolutely meaningless.
These releases today are very damaging for Denuvo as they have doubtless been busy telling publishers that they have this under control and that the hacker, while not identified, has gone further underground and has stopped cracking games.
Now publishers and Denuvo know Voices38 isn't going anywhere. Long live V38 and fck Denuvo and the publishers that use it!
