Pixel 10a at home, Pixel 9a on the go.

Google released this software update for the 9a, but I really don't care to update it. Such a pointless update for me.

And that's nearly 1.50GB.

Pixel 9a with Graphene OS. F*ck Google and their AI shit! I paid for the hardware, i choose what i install and what permissions i give to the software !
Was that relatively easy? I've always wanted to do that, just concerned about bricking it.

Super easy. Just follow the instructions in the site.

Near zero chance of a brick.

i'm never going back to stock Google Android. Not unless i have this or Lineage OS as alternatives.

Just upgraded from: 256GB Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

to: 512GB GB Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Now I'm not the type to stream music or other content besides maybe YouTube, so I listen to all my music in FLAC files from my PC, and they can get quite large; So I doubled down on the storage. I still get a full 12GB of RAM, a beefy Snapdragon SoC, nice cameras, etc. Now I have a built-in stylus, which is nice. Doubles as a clicky pen fidget toy. No more annoying curved edges on the screen. Got a nice case that supports MagSafe; And as much as I detest Apple, the MagSafe ecosystem kicks ass! Got myself a MagSafe charger for traveling, and love it.
