Goldeneye xbla recomp on Wii U possible?

So the recomp of (the unreleased) Goldeneye xbla is out for a while now and downloadable for pc on Github: Goldeneye recomp.

Would it be even be a possible mission to port this game to the Wii U?
Or is that not possible due to the lack of power that the Wii U has?
I think it would be awesome to have this game ported to the Wii U, it would make the game Collection perfect and very unique imho.

It's a pity, would love to see this game on the Wii U, but if it is that hard, probably no one will accept the Challenge

The Wii version with its lightgun controls is superior anyway. But no, there's not much of a Wii U homebrew games/ports scene and there never was.

The Wii version isn't even the same game, they obviously want Goldeneye not the Wii cashgrab

It's technically possible, but frankly a Wii port would be more feasible even though the tradeoffs would be huge.

Yet again, unless you find someone interested in porting that to Wii/WiiU, I doubt they'd do it for free. But you can always start and see how far you can get.
