He also said that SciresM stated he will not work on the Switch2.
I'm still trying to figure out what does SciresM have to do with the Switch2? Maybe you and Nitro can blow eachother off to come up with an answer.
"He's saying that if your name isn't SciresM, people on this forum aren't gonna care about anything you do"
I'd be very careful about that statement. You think the Switch scene is the only thing here on this forum?
Twas a joke. Chill out

They obviously can't read either. I have respects to Scires, but I also know what retirement is.

Well, the problem is SciresM said he completely audited the Switch 1 to see if he could find anything to make a kernel for the Switch 1, and he found nothing, and that was years of work. The Switch 2 already has the same firmware as the Switch 1. Do you seriously think someone will find a way to break Horizon OS?

Well ofc. If the person is willing to spend time trying, which Gezine has stated in his tweet. I think the problem is that some (not all) ppl have this mindset where if "your not SciresM we don't want new exploits."
I'm simply stating that progression wont happen from a retired individual who had no interest in S2 hacking from the start. The userland exploit may not be anything great, but its a baby step start for the S2.

My question to you is this.. why do you have so much doubt seeing someone else that's reputable from a another scene? Who btw broke the PS4 & PS5 using the apps it came with  Let the ppl in this thread have some light of hope that things will get better with time since the userland exploit itself works on all S2 firmwares. Switch 2 info @10:34

Ignore what I said. SciresM tried for years to break Horizon OS at the kernel level and found nothing, only userland. So you're going to say SciresM didn't dedicate time? Of course he dedicated time, and more time than the guy who found the recent userland. And obviously, several other people besides SciresM also audited Horizon OS for years without finding anything at the kernel level. Remember that both switches 1 and 2 have Horizon OS, and the kernel level of Horizon OS on switch 1 hasn't been broken yet.

Edit: Thus, SciresM is more expert in every sense of the word when we talk about horizon os compared to Gezine.

All I'm reading from you is that 1 dev couldn't do it, so the world can't either. I'm sorry, ppl like you just never contribute to any hacking scene with that logic. Atmopshere at rcm/tegra and chips were more than enough for Switch 1. A kernel exploit would have just made things much more convenient.

If it were just SciresM who couldn't find anything in Horizon OS on Switch 1, maybe I'd agree with you, but many people over the years have tried to find something at the kernel level in Horizon OS and haven't found anything.

See now you'll have to state that sources of how many ppl we are talking about who was working with SciresM. Or it could be the fact there was no need for a kernel exploit hunt at the state the Switch 1 was already in. I just want to see where this goes in Gezine's hands, the dude loves to challenge himself. After all this thread is about the speculations S2 hacking.

I'm talking about the entire "Switch 1" modding community. Do you think SciresM was just trying to find something to break Horizon OS?

"your not SciresM we don't want new exploits." I have not seen one person say this

Don't gaslight yourself. So now you are saying the entire PS4/PS5 modding community has no chance. Once upon a time the PS5 hypervisor couldn't be exploited, but now it is for lower FW's by that same community. So how long are we gonna keep doubting the world on this?

@SecureBoot Still telling jokes huh. I guess this one is on you. :rofl2: If we aren't real... then you clearly don't want new exploits.

My man still doesn't grasp the concept of a joke

You are a troll. I'd say the concept of your existence on this thread is a joke. 2 pages of gibberish with 0 face value only to say
"I was joking"
Brother, we've been on this site for the same amount of time. We took a joke post at face value and didn't recognize the sarcasm. It's okay, we all get mixed up sometimes

It's like the PS4/PS5, which is kernel-based, and the Switch 1/2, which is microkernel-based. It's much harder to find anything in Horizon OS microkernel, which is why nobody has found anything in all these years.
