Well, in terms of apps... you have THE VERY FIRST COLORS App... a drawing app for the DS
And a DS Manga reader app.... forgot the name but you can look for it... it became really popular

Doom, Wolfenstein, A well-made Counter Strike Demake, Geometry Dash, CatMarioDS... yeah, that troll Mario-inspired cat game.... Its on the DS now...
PortalDS such a good one, this one is a "New" one, Touch of War... basically one of those old-school games like Starcraft about troop management is solid overall, a guy Ported MiniCraft , the Minecraft Demake made by Notch, to the DS too, BALATRO!!! The Final Fantasy Card game is also on the DS... forgot the name
Recently this guy made a Port of the ORIGINAL Mario 64 for the DS... and added local multiplayer A GOOD MULTIPLAYER unlike the official one
AND WE FINALLY HAVE MINECRAFT IN A PLAYABLE STATE FOR THE DS!!! MineDS and 2DCraft were good... but they were just unfinished... which is sad...
but we finally have a good Minecraft DS Port...
Red Temple, i played it and it´s good.. GIVE IT A TRY PLEASE!!! Is a wacky game
I like Bunny Run but it´s a simple game, so nothing too impressive
The rest of the GOOD Homebrew i know is emulation like this Macintosh emulator
VERY WIP:
https://github.com/TaraHoleInIt/minivmac-dsi
This is a port of the Macintosh emulator Mini vMac to the DS(i).
Unlike the original DS port, this should be full speed with sound on DSi systems.
I have not tested this on the DS phat/lite, sound probably will only work on the DSi only.
Data files need to go in /data/minivmac:
vMac.ROM
diskX.dsk where X is 1 to 6 for disk images inserted at startup
Keys:
DPAD: arrow keys
L/R: mouse click
A: return
X escape
Start: dismiss message
Select: swap screen/enable UI
Let me know what you think!
I hope I haven't forgotten anything...
or projects that are not finished and are barely playable. but have future
Like the Mario Galaxy DEMAKE FOR THE DS MADE FROM THE GROUND UP!!!
I hope i helped you
