Woke up at 6am today already 1pm and feel like passing out. Since my time pattern is usually nocturnal dating back to night shifts and late night outs with friends it's kind of been difficult to make the adjustment and stay on it. To combat times I do wake up at like 3pm I'll force myself up to attempt to wake up in the mornings again. Can't keep this pattern up though especially when getting older.

Oh yeah I do it whenever I take time off work to play games lol.

Usually up at 5am when working but can sometimes stay up until 2 or 3 if I’m really into a game (and am not working). I just set an alarm to make sure I have around 6hrs sleep if I need to swap from late nights to early mornings and go to bed early to adjust.

I try to get at least 7 hours every night but we all know that ain't happening. So I just drink coffee, try to keep my shit together, and take naps anywhere I can lol

Yeah sorry I thought this was in the EoF so I posted an image-only reply.

Anywhoo, I'm not a night owl, never have been, so I can switch to regular sleeping within a day or two. Switching to day sleeping when I work the night shift is more difficult. No matter how tired I am I can't sleep for too long during the day. Falling alseep is not the problem, staying asleep is. I go to bed at 8AM and wake up at noon and feel like the walking dead. I've discovered that melatonin and theanine help with that, they let me sleep longer.
