That's shame
Shit is tight then
No, he did not.

IIRC we had a userland exploit on day 1. It does almost nothing for us. It's just a cool trick.

Well that amounted to nothing.
Did i format it properly or do we simply need an update to use the sd card reader in general?
Also if i hit update, what would it do?
-Update system software
-Get the exfat patch only
-Other
Has anyone gotten an sd card of any sort to read without the update?|
*Also, this was tried with regular micro sd as didn't want to erase my express card
No we had an ROP exploit. Which is more just hijacking a currently running process and basically useless on its own.IIRC we had a userland exploit on day 1. It does almost nothing for us. It's just a cool trick.
dam so i was right, and theres no way to use the sd without updating if u hadnt activated it early??Luckily my gf has mario kart world, so if and when things get started and it's needed, We'll be good.
No SD is not supported. Plug in a SD express card and it will just work after you restart.dam so i was right, and theres no way to use the sd without updating if u hadnt activated it early??
Yeah this was something we learned right when the system launched.dam so i was right, and theres no way to use the sd without updating if u hadnt activated it early??
and 3ds with a magnetDS lite got hacked with a screw (Flashme), Wii with Tweezers, Switch with a paperclip... i suspect switch 2 will get hacked with a... Fork.
Yeah, sure, a fork, why not.

Is this SD express only? Does it need to be formatted fat32?No SD is not supported. Plug in a SD express card and it will just work after you restart.
Technically that already required CFW access to initially flash the cart but yeahand 3ds with a magnet![]()
i know i have the sd card activated on mineNo SD is not supported. Plug in a SD express card and it will just work after you restart.

But Nintendo's SoC choice mean that they are still able to get their Nvidia SoC's fabbed on widely available 8nm wafters, which have not been hit by a wave of price hikes that most consumers haven't been paying attention to during the RAMcopolypse. Valve chose 6 nanometer for their AMD SoC's, which makes them more susceptible to cost increases for that chip, not even taken into account how many tens of millions more Nintendo is going to have made (economies of scale). Nintendo got it right. The price increases are heavily affected by RAM and storage, not SoCs and APUs.

It had been rumored than the T239 would be on a newer fab because of numbers found in the giga leak that wouldn't work on Samsung 8N. But we all see that wasn't true, and that they did get it working on S8N. But the thing is, they designed it based on that long ago. Long before the RAMcopolypse was a thing, or even AI for that matter. But Nintendo's SoC choice mean that they are still able to get their Nvidia SoC's fabbed on widely available 8nm wafters, which have not been hit by a wave of price hikes that most consumers haven't been paying attention to during the RAMcopolypse.
