Minimum wage in the US hasn't increased in over 30 years, and a loaf of bread is $10 regardless.
The salary of minimum wage earners in a company is such a tiny fraction of the total business costs it's a rounding error. You could double it and still not have to raise end prices.
You could but why are stores going to price less if they know the publics making more.

So the stores don't have to increase prices, they will increase prices just because people don't have a choice? Seems like the fault lies somewhere else and not with the wages.

Yeah the faults larger corperations knowing prices are going up that the public can afford to pay and in most cases have no other choice but to pay. If a 30 case of diapers is $40 and manufacturers know new couples can easily make that they'll definitely try to charge $45.

The driver, 70-year-old Jim McDaniel, told TV station WFAA that it was his third time using the truck’s “Wade Mode” in the sprawling reservoir — and that he had driven into the Atlantic Ocean successfully as well.

McDaniel was charged with operating a vehicle in a closed section of a park, not having a valid boat registration and not having life jackets or a fire extinguisher on board.
He was also charged the cost of salvaging the car from the lake.

Fact is, Elon touted a feature that the truck simply does not have and will actively endanger anyone who tries it. And if I recall correctly he did this during some massive flooding or something? Had the truck been out at the time he would have gotten a whole bunch of people killed.

It's not the first time he made such claims but at least back then someone told him to add a disclaimer because this is some actionable shit.

There are some factual inaccuracies such as which Czar Alexander it was (it was III) and the fact the speed disagreements had been ongoing for years (not started that day), and that 21 people died, but overall mostly true
