Got a busted V1 Switch from a buddy of mine... not sure what he did, but fellas, it's a doozy. Think it may be cooked.
I get the black-and-white Nintendo boot screen, then just a black abyss when trying to boot into Stock FW. It is completely black when trying to use Hekate to boot into CFW."

Here is some screen shots.

I don't think even a literate mouse can read that. Try separating the screenshots and uploading them to imgur. Anyway, modern Hekate does NOT look like that, so I imagine this is malformed on purpose to force a download of a potential infostealer malware disguised as an image. The Guy Fawkes mask (a la Anonymous, the so-called 'noble' hacking group), along with the activity of your account, indicate a hacked account.

Did you merge all of your screenshots into one tall png? Because the text in them is quite unreadable at least on my end?
No version of Hekate has ever been styled like any of those screenshots. This is likely a phishing or hacking attempt. Considering the typo in the title, likely a script kiddie.

Yeah, I did that.

Yeah, Google Lens is saying it isn't an image. Some hacking is going on here.

WAIT. dev keys??? I'm fairly certain those are only on dev units. If so, that explains why it won't work, and why the firmware isn't detected. It has dev unit firmware on it.

... I don't think so. but I'll grab a new V22.1 FW.

For the record, I wouldn't use any of the shit Sthetix releases.
Y'all beefin?

Well, I guess I should say it HAD dev firmware on it. And it needs dev firmware, as it has dev hardware. And dev firmware isn't public (although certain groups have it, it is illegal to distribute it; even if you are in a non-extraditing country, that won't stop Nintendo from threatening family members outside of your country if you don't cease operations. I imagine that is what happened to the Ryujinx head dev, although it was never proven. As such, I don't think anyone in these groups would help you on the risk that the firmware leaks; since each dev firmware download is tied to a Nintendo Developer Portal account, it would potentially get someone in extreme trouble if these firmwares got out).

In this case, you may as well consider the system bricked. However, I imagine that someone in one of these groups may buy it off of you for a hefty sum (these dev units go for thousands of dollars in good working condition, and stuff that may still be on the now-corrupted NAND may still be useful to them).
