Something interesting I learned just now

The original webdings font displayed the game controller as a microsoft sidewinder

On my PC now, it's been replaced by an xbox controller

Anyone remember those old camcorders and their vhs-c tapes?

You would put the small tape into the larger housing to play on your home vcr

I have one from a school project we did, and since I have no way to play it, I have no idea what's on the tape.

DS.... DS was a real war.
That was until the clones appeared which defeated the whole purpose of a flashcart war. But at its peak, it was all about features like real-time-save, expandability and compatibility with games. I never was around when it happened, but for a couple of years I've owned a clone SC-SD for GBA and an R4 SDHC Dual-Core clone for DS until then I decided to look into the history because it was just fascinating.
