with the big bang theory like its watchable but that laugh track kinda kills it . no matter what they say = funny . then you ask your self wait how was that even funny . think out of all the seasons there was one time i did find something funny but not sure if i was just tired or not..
Jimmy Kimmel Live this is the first time watching him as it had matt stone and trey parker . but even that he can point some thing out or say whats going on and people cry laughing . i man gave him a cup omg so funny ... like are there even fans of this ? makes me wonder why they keep it going for so long and stop real funny shows or good shows that have fans . some canceled shows its like why its got like 9 out of 10 on imdb so much people like it and want more/proper end yet pull plug and keep bad shows going

Stopped watching TV around 2004 if not earlier... but I do recall mom/sis watching that shit (The big shit theory) and, no... it's not funny.
On top of that, family didn't understood the "jokes" that got lost in translation.

Who the fuck is Jimmy Kimmel?

The only Jimmy I know is Jimmy Neutron.

wow from 2004 . + side there are still shows from the 80s and 90s that still hold up

I don't watch tv. But my parents do, and my dad used to watch Big Bang Theory, and noooooooooo, it's not funny at all.

As for Jimmy Kimmel, fuck no, Youtube keeps shilling his god damn clips to me, he was never funny to me.

Same here but more like 1987. I did enjoy evenings with SciFi, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and Comedy Central in the 90's. And I will occasionally d/l a good show from Netflx, HBO, etc. But mainstream commercial broadcast TV ... yeah 1987-ish.

Jimmy Kimmel got famous due to "The Man Show" which you may have heard of since it was on 1999-2004. But Adam Carolla carried that show, insofar as which one was the comedian, and which one was the clown.

Man Show, South Park, and Beavis & Butthead were cornerstones of a great childhood.

Yes, they are both funny.

Though they both ran for a long time, and maybe they peaked and you need to have been there all along

Saw a YT video that edited out the laugh tracks for TBBT, and while I didn't care for the show before, this showed just how unfunny it was.
Comedy is subjective, big bang theory was funny. That doesn't mean you find it funny.

Jimmy Kimmel wanted to retire from the show a couple of years ago, but people love how he stands up to Trump.

You can do that with any sitcom and get the same result. I'm not saying BBT is funny, just that it's not an entirely fair comparison. Having (or even just emulating) a live and interactive audience affects the timing and looks weird when you mute them. It also happens with stand up comedy, if you mute the audience you just have a guy standing there waggling his eyebrows and mangling the delivery.

But then when you remove the dialog of other shows and do some editing......

lol could be bad

think any of the ones missing the laugh makes it hard to watch

West coast Jimmy is alright, way better than the east coast counterpart. As for the sitcom, I much prefer Father Ted, also The IT Crowd. Those UK shows are far superior to BBT. B-)
