Thanks for your help mate. Now my R4 card working perfectly using these launchers.

Don't know what's the issue with the links on the OP. But looks like I am not the only one who's facing this issue.

Been a long time since I posted in this thread but randomly out of no where I recently came across a M3DS Real. I went ahead and dumped it's internal rom, made the required arm7 binary adjustment, and created a compatible stage 2 launcher for it.

Although I seem to recall my current version of NTR Launcher works with it I think. But that can be hit or miss with some cards and I have stopped working on it. If you have a DSi with HiyaCFW/Unlaunch this cart will boot fine directly from System Menu abit with some issues with the original pre-M3 Sakura DSM video player. (aka the one with the gbalpha logo) This seems to be the case on 3DS too so don't expect it to work on 3DS unless nocash decides to port Unlaunch to 3DS at some point as only his cart launcher seems able to boot this cart in away that doesn't break the original DSM player. M3 Sakura's video player is newer and will run fine I believe though it won't be able to play the older DSM video files that only the gbalpha version could play. I presume this was a non issue on the DS/DS lite this cart was originally made for.

Note unlike the other one I made this one back in the day this one will work with any firmware setup you have for your M3 DS Real cart be it WoodM3 or YSMenu/etc.

As mentioned the original DSM player will most likely hang when loading a DSM video file but game launching seems to work.

I'm aware this cart had 2 hardware revisions. One that used an FPGA and a newer one that doesn't. Mine was the second revision that did away with FPGA. They both should work though but I can't gurantee that. :P

I vagually recalled someone had issues with it back in the day so hopefully this helps you out on that. The quick tests I did indicate that with the original firmware Mario Kart DS booted fine. I have to assume M3 Sakura would run fine too though I did not test that. The gbalpha DSM player was the only thing that seems broken but I think that's down to how the 3DS/DSi boots the cart. Only Unlaunch's built in cart launcher will result in a working gbalpha DSM player. M3 Sakura's DSM player should run fine though as it's very similar in setup to Moonshell. :P

I've only tested M3 Sakura on DSi and this cart with my new launcher behaves the same as it does when booted from DSi's System Menu so I presume everything besides the gbalpha DSM player should run without issue on 3DS as well. :D

Looking for some help, I just modded my original 3DS and installed the R4cartlauncher any kernel, I have _DS_menu.dat on the root of my SD but when I launch the application I get stuck on a loading screen, I have an original non-SDHC R4 cart, any advice? It boots perfectly fine on my DS lite.

There are several different files to download in the op I'm not sure which one you're referring to I just downloaded the original version for r4 so if you're having problems downloading it's not because it's no longer being distributed

Little late seeing this but I checked and as far as I'm aware all the links still work though I did notice since they had http instead of https. Firefox was complaining about that so I went and fixed them. Unless your more specific on which link didn't work for you I can't help.

I've attached the files to the main post minus the 58mb one as it's too large on it's own. Surely one of those was what you needed and not the one file that won't fit? So since it's been almost a year I would have to guess you resolved this maybe. ;P

I think I had it at one time and used it once but if someone has it I would appreciate it if it could be uploaded again

I restored the flash in ntrboot after injecting the bootstrap9 and it no longer recognizes the dstt flash cartridge when inserted in the cartridge slot. before the slot 1 launcher would load the flashcart when the flashcart appeared blank with a blank label on home menu. if I booted it from home menu it would say error press the power button

Solution Found: 1. Download ntr boot 0.2 or 0.3.1 as 0.3 has issues and latest ntr flasher didn't work with this revision of DSTT

Hacking  Thread '[Tutorial] Unbrick a DSTT flashcart without a backup'

For my first tutorial I will show you guys how to unbrick a DSTT card with only one 3DS Family console!
What you'll need:
  1. A Nintendo 3DS Family system with GodMode9
  2. a DSTT (not DSTTi!) card
  3. a way to read microSD cards on your computer
  4. only two files
Let's get started!
The first thing we're going to do is download the ntrboot firmware and the flashable image. I attached a ZIP with both of them.
Next up is copying them to the microSD card. Copy ntrboot.firm anywhere in your SD card. Create a new folder called "ntrboot" in the root of your microSD card and copy...

3. Create folder on 3ds sd card "ntrboot" and place the recovery file 3 versions on root of sd card and in "ntrboot" folder name it dstt-backup.bin, dsttdump.bin, and backup.bin and place the ntrboot_flasher.firm anywhere you can access it from with godmode9.

4. Download the unofficial latest 17a2 DSTT firmware (3 kernels) should be attached in post. transfer your desired files and folders of the kernel you chose to the flashcart micro sd.

5. Insert console SD card back into 3DS and DSTT flash cartridge into console with no sd card in cartridge.

5. Boot into godmode9 turning on the 3ds browse and select the ntrboot_flasher.firm file and choose boot the .firm file from the lower screen options.

6. Select DSTT and select restore flash and once it is complete select exit with the flash cartridge inside the 3ds console.

7. Turn on the 3ds and install the TTDS stage 2 launcher cia and/or NTR launcher v3.2+ and you can install Twl menu onto your 3ds.

8. turn off your console and remove the flash cartridge from the slot and place the cartridge micro sd card into the flash cartridge and the flash cartridge back into the console.

9. turn on your console you should now see the game icon and blank name game label appear on the screen.

10. use the launcher cia shortcuts on the home menu with your flash cartridge in the console to boot into the cartridge.
