For my first tutorial I will show you guys how to unbrick a DSTT card with only one 3DS Family console!
    What you'll need:
    1. A Nintendo 3DS Family system with GodMode9
    2. a DSTT (not DSTTi!) card
    3. a way to read microSD cards on your computer
    4. only two files
    Let's get started!
The first thing we're going to do is download the ntrboot firmware and the flashable image. I attached a ZIP with both of them.
Next up is copying them to the microSD card. Copy ntrboot.firm anywhere in your SD card. Create a new folder called "ntrboot" in the root of your microSD card and copy backup.bin there. Now you can eject the card. Turn your system off and insert the card into the system's SD/microSD card slot. Then insert your flashcart without its microSD card. Turn your system on and hold the START button immediately after you push the power button. You should see the GodMode9 boot logo. Highlight your microSD card (it has the drive number 0), press A, then highlight the ntrboot.firm file. Press A again, and when you see a context menu where "FIRM image options..." is highlighted, press A one more time. Navigate down using the + control pad and highlight "Boot FIRM". Select it. Press A two times. You'll be prompted to select a flashcart. Choose DSTT, then choose "restore flash". Now you only have to press A, select "Poweroff" or "Reboot" and press A one last time. Now your DSTT card, real or clone, is unbricked!

Yes, and there was no flashable DSTT image.

There's a problem with this: there are tons of DSTT flash chips and not all have the same backup image or are necessarily compatible with one another. This means we'd need many different backup images which would be a fairly large undertaking.

Here's a list of the ntrboot compatible DSTT chips:

Thanks for replying. How can I identify my card’s flash chip?

Can’t we create a Github page for most? Providing Backups for most, then putting it in the Guide?

    Using DsttFlashChecker.nds from https://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/?mode=desc&fileid=2112

We sure could, it'd just be quite a bit of work and isn't very high on the priority list.

I think you can unbrick DSi TT cards the same way. I only added “(not DSTTi!)” because I don’t own one
