Is anyone using like an automated cleanup script or program please don't tell me you guys upscale all the duplicates?

I'm attempting my first PS1 game, I'm using a tool called antidupl.net-2.3.9 to get rid of duplicates it's cut it down by half, went from 2000 textures to 1,100, still playing with it to get the perfect recipe it gives you a few options on how to delete and how many duplicates to delete, but I also concerns me because that was just one level of a game and it dumped that many texturesSome upscalers can't be bothered to research what models are best for upscaling so they go with the first option. If they're taking the path of least resistant than it's safe to assume they're upscaling duplicates, even when it sometimes doesn't make a difference. Also PS1 dumping is still in it's infancy compared to PS2.

yeah i noticed, i gave up on ps1 games, the one i was working on was a fps, one npc has like 50+ textures alone, different angles, matching shadow textures not worth it for meSome games actually need the duplicates. It's why my Megaman Legends 2 pack is so big. If you remove the duplicates, then the textures will constantly flicker between base and upscaled.
PS1 dumping is still a bit of a mess.
