I am currently in the process of attempting to create a PCXS2 HD texture pack for Spider-man: The Movie Game, and am running into so many issues implementing the upscaled textures.
The attached screenshots are from the version I created for the game on the Dolphin emulator and what I'm hoping to get the PS2 version looking like.
I have tried every method known to get PCXS2 to recognise the upscaled textures but it only seems to recognise static PNG/DDS Textures and not the character or environment textures.
I have used the texture dump method to extract the textures and mipmaps to maintain the original transparencies and implement them them over the upscaled textures but the game still won't recognise them, and when they do they glitch in and out of frame for a couple of seconds before reverting to the original game texture.
i have tried running them in PNG & DDS format with the generated mipmaps but keep running into the same issues.
All textures are labelled correctly with the corresponding game codes but that hasn't resolved the issue either.
Could anyone who have run into similar issues when creating their own texture packs offer any assistance?

. Its not surprising you are having issues with creating textures in regards to the emulator due to the way it processes and uses each image. There is a history of the community trying to get the team to make the emulator have better support for packs but so far it hasn't happen all that much. While I may not be able to give support for what you may need the forum here has a lot of very helpful and knowledgeable creators that could give assistance. If you are on discord id suggest the user SadOrigami's server where a lot of us talk and give ideas for this purpose. I hope you find what you need and good luck
