'Resident Evil Requiem' gets free minigame via new update

Capcom dropped a surprise update for the newly-released Resident Evil Requiem. This free update introduces Leon Must Die Forever, a minigame available after completing the main story.

“LEON MUST DIE FOREVER” is an extra game mode that is unlocked after players complete the main story and comes packed with the nonstop combat action that players know and love from legendary agent Leon S. Kennedy. Fight your way through areas you’ve visited previously throughout the game and defeat the final boss, all with stronger enemy variants, five increasingly difficulty ranks, and a race against the clock! Fill your enhancement gauge by defeating enemies to unlock Leon’s “enhancer abilities” exclusive to this game mode.

The Leon Must Die Forever free minigame is playable starting today across PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and GeForce NOW.

What a useless feature. I’m not into endless replayability or permadeath style gameplay. What a waste. Nah, I’ll ignore it. I love the story mode, and I finished it. Great game. Loved it.

Capcom is such a breath of fresh air the last two years or so ... when it comes what they put out, do for free with games, content dlc's etc. Sure there are still quite some things on my wish list .... mainly a Mega Man X remaster, but if that ever ends up happening well your guess is a good as mine.

Back on topic on RE though; Requiem for what I;ve played and mostly heared, is not bad. Any free addition is simply put a win.
