This is awesome news! Now that I finally have 5 posts... I can share the github. https://github.com/Cellenseres/ItadakiPSVita_FanslationProject/tree/main/TextfilesSo, I can answer this.
Good news is: Yes it's still being worked on. @Krisan Thyme has made some amazing progress!
Bad news: It's mostly the character dialog that needs to be done. I stepped up to help but I'm ALREADY doing the other FF/DQ installments, Special (PS2) and Portable (PSP). I'm doing my best but Special has over 3000 strings and I'm doing it all alone while having a 40h full-time job.
"Do you REALLY need to do those games?"
Yes. Special for one is amazing and is unique with its Sphere system and I've been wanting to see it COMPLETE since 2017. Portable is interesting. It's not terribly unique in its offerings but I've found that SE straight up copied a lot of the character dialog over to 30th. So if I translate Portable, I'll be translating 30th at the same time. Neat, huh?
At this time there is no Japan version yet. Only the Chinese/Koream version has been translated. I been monitoring the Japanese version for quite some time and believe that this project has been abadoned. It also doesn't help that the the game is written in Unity and requires a "Vita License" to do things.I've played a good ammount of Fortune Street (Wii) with some friends in college, and we want to play the 30th version now.
There is something I can't quite understand about this last translation.
How do I apply the translation over the JP rom that I'll emulate ?
