So, I can answer this.

Good news is: Yes it's still being worked on. @Krisan Thyme has made some amazing progress!

Bad news: It's mostly the character dialog that needs to be done. I stepped up to help but I'm ALREADY doing the other FF/DQ installments, Special (PS2) and Portable (PSP). I'm doing my best but Special has over 3000 strings and I'm doing it all alone while having a 40h full-time job.

"Do you REALLY need to do those games?"

Yes. Special for one is amazing and is unique with its Sphere system and I've been wanting to see it COMPLETE since 2017. Portable is interesting. It's not terribly unique in its offerings but I've found that SE straight up copied a lot of the character dialog over to 30th. So if I translate Portable, I'll be translating 30th at the same time. Neat, huh?

This is awesome news! Now that I finally have 5 posts... I can share the github. https://github.com/Cellenseres/ItadakiPSVita_FanslationProject/tree/main/Textfiles

Just my quarterly post to continue gravedigging. Hope there is someone out there whos willing to support the project if not could we get the files of what was done, so the project can continue being worked on?

I've played a good ammount of Fortune Street (Wii) with some friends in college, and we want to play the 30th version now.
There is something I can't quite understand about this last translation.
How do I apply the translation over the JP rom that I'll emulate ?

At this time there is no Japan version yet. Only the Chinese/Koream version has been translated. I been monitoring the Japanese version for quite some time and believe that this project has been abadoned. It also doesn't help that the the game is written in Unity and requires a "Vita License" to do things.

2. Add the line ux0:tai/repatch.skprx in the tai config.txt under *KERNEL
I don't get how to do this step

Chiming in to get my own notifications on this hoping the translators pop back up with progress. Enjoying what I got translated rn after spending a few hours getting at least the base content translated but I would love everything to be translated if luck would come to us for that!

Sharing the interest here as well! I think the project was canned though and the person didn't share the dynamic libs or anything, so its basically on hold from what I can tell. I have on the other hand started to look into a setting up the SDK environment for this, so maybe I might take a whack at it.

Hi Everyone, I kind of got impatient waiting for work to finish on this translation and went ahead and tried to get something workable for us. I could not have done any of this without the information that xXDungeon_CrawlerXx had found and done to get his translation where it was.

I have a working and 99% complete translated version of this game currently that I intend to release in some manner over the next week or two. All that is left to translate are some graphics of lesser importance.

Full disclosure: This was heavily assisted by Claude Code, so if that is a point of contention this may not be the release for you, and I would wait for the one from xXDungeon_CrawlerXx as it will be the one with all the love baked in.

Stay tuned!
